Punjab Girl Birthday Cake died: This article, “Punjab girl dies after eating her birthday cake: high level of artificial sweetener likely cause-10155891,” was published in English on Jagran.com in India.

According to authorities, the cake that was connected to the death of a 10-year-old Punjabi girl was made with a lot of artificial sweeteners, they said on Monday. After eating the chocolate cake that was ordered online for the girl’s birthday from a Patiala bakery, her entire family became ill on March 24.
According to the report, which was provided to NDTV by District Health Officer Dr. Vijay Jindal, a sweet-tasting synthetic substance, a significant quantity of saccharine, and a cake sample was utilized in the cooking process. Saccharine is used in food and beverages in tiny doses, but excessive amounts can quickly raise blood sugar levels.

Authorities indicated that the bakery will shortly face consequences, including possible fines. The owner of the bakery has already been the subject of an FIR.

Just hours before she passed away, Manvi is seen cutting the cake and having fun with her family in a video that has been extensively shared on social media.

Chandigarh court orders FIR against the Developer.

The zoning plan and layout plan for the project were authorized in November 2015 and October 2015, respectively. In January 2017, the Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act, 1995’s Section 44 exemption was granted.

Police are required by a local court to file a formal complaint (FIR) against a developer who has been collecting payments from allottees before obtaining the necessary project permissions.

Following Ram Deo Singh’s appeal, the order against M/s Manohar Infrastructure and Construction Private Limited was issued. Singh had invested in the developer’s Mullanpur property, “Palm Garden.”

The complainant submitted in court that he applied for a 250-square-yard plot in the project on February 28, 2012. The company acknowledged receipts of a total amount of ₹23.75 lakh by way of two cheques in 2012 and 2013.

The project’s layout plan was approved in October 2015 and the zoning plan in November 2015, whereas exemption under Section 44 of the Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act, 1995, was granted in January 2017.

Singh contended that under the Act, the developer could not have advertised or collected money for the project from the general public for the allotment of plot land till layout plans/zoning plans were approved by the competent authority and issuance of exemption under Section 44 of the Act by the state government.

The court of chief judicial magistrate stated, “The accused had no authority to collect money from the complainant in 2012 for allotment of plot,” directing the police to file a formal complaint against the developer. It is established law that an FIR must be filed right away if the information provided makes it obvious that a cognizable offense has been committed.

Therefore, the complaint is forwarded to the SHO of the relevant police station for case registration and investigation by Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The court directed that a copy of the complaint and this order be sent to the relevant SHO for compliance.

The police now have until May 30 to turn in the compliance report, at which point the matter will proceed.

Current Market Scenario

At the moment, PhonePe and Google Pay account for an enormous 85% of UPI-based transactions. Potential Methods for Reducing Market Share

Home Ministry to suspend the Delhi Assembly’s secretary due to irregularities in the flyover project.

September 2023 saw the National Capital Civil Service Authority (NCCSA) recommend suspending the Home Ministry to suspend the Delhi Assembly’s secretary. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has suspended Delhi Assembly Secretary, Raj Kumar, over alleged irregularities linked to the Rani Jhansi flyover project during his tenure as the land acquisition collector in the NCT government.

Raj Kumar, the Delhi Assembly secretary, has been suspended by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) due to suspected irregularities in the Rani Jhansi flyover project, which he was involved in when serving as the land acquisition collector for the NCT government.

In response to the MHA’s decision, Raj Kumar, an official from the Delhi, Andaman, and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DANICS), stated he was not allowed to clarify his position on suspension in the previous instance.

Top Today’s Headlines Of The Day: April 19, 2024, to start your day.

“I have received the MHA order regarding my suspension. It’s an old case and I was not given any chance to explain myself so I have nothing else to say now,” he told PTI.

The National Capital Civil Service Authority (NCCSA) had in September 2023, recommended the Delhi assembly secretary’s suspension following the recommendations of a panel of senior Delhi government officials.

However, the MHA issued the suspension order on April 16 saying that a “disciplinary proceeding” against Kumar is being contemplated.

“Now, therefore, the President, in the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1)(a) of Rule 10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1965, hereby places the said Shri Raj Kumar, DANICS under suspension with immediate effect,” read the order.

His suspension stemmed from purported anomalies connected to the building of the 1.8-kilometer Rani Jhansi flyover, which links St Stephen’s Hospital in north Delhi with the Filmistan Cinema hall.

Built at an estimated cost of ₹724 crore, the flyover was delayed due to land acquisition issues and accusations of corruption. 2018 saw the flyover reopened to the public after a 20-year wait.

As to the report, the Central Vigilance Commission was requested by a Lokpal panel in November 2022 to examine all accessible papers and existing legal proceedings to determine accountability and retrieve any overpayment related to the flyover project.
