Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

After Sadhguru returns from the hospital, he meditates and “recharges with simple meal.

Earlier this month, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev had emergency brain surgery in Delhi.

After receiving his discharge from a private hospital in Delhi more than a week after undergoing emergency brain surgery, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev posted glimpses of him lounging. According to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, the spiritual leader had experienced “life-threatening” bleeding in the head.

A video showed him sitting in meditation after he left the hospital.

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, 66, underwent the surgery on March 17.

“Sadhguru recharges with a simple evening meal,” the video said in the caption.

Many of his followers gathered at the hospital gate as he was being discharged and greeted him with folded hands.

The founder of the Isha Foundation, which has its headquarters in Coimbatore, is Jaggi Vasudev. He has started environmental conservation initiatives including “Save Soil” and “Rally for Rivers.”

Prior to the procedure, he had been experiencing excruciating headaches for the previous four weeks, according to the hospital.

Even though the pain was excruciating, he carried on with his social life and everyday routine, even leading the Maha Shivaratri ceremony on March 8. In a video, senior consultant neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri of the hospital stated that the patient “ignored all the pain and continued with all meetings.”

On March 15, though, the spiritual leader called Dr. Suri because his headache was getting worse.

It further stated that Suri instantly suspected a subdural haematoma and recommended an emergency MRI.

The following day, the spiritual leader had a brain MRI, which showed extensive skull bleeding.

Among those wishing him a fast recovery was Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
