Who is Adrian Newey

Adrian Newey is one of the most successful car designers in the F1 and IndyCar racing series. Though he currently works for the Red Bull F1
team, he has worked with several other title-winning teams like Williams and McLaren as well. He has even worked as a car designer in other racing series like IMSA and IndyCar.
He was even appointed as the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2012 for his services to motorsport. His glittering career is worth taking a lot at.

One of the all-time greats in Formula One engineering is Adrian Newey, whose vehicles have won 25 drivers’ and manufacturers’ championships for Williams, McLaren, and Red Bull.

In response to rumors on Thursday that Adrian Newey, the most sought-after designer in Formula One, was looking to leave the defending champion, Red Bull maintained that Newey was contracted through at least the end of 2019.

They were “unaware of him joining any other team,” a spokesperson continued.

Nonetheless, the 65-year-old thought he might work out a deal to leave to join another team for the upcoming season, according to the BBC.

It was not immediately possible to get in touch with Newey, whose vehicles have won 25 drivers’ and constructors’ titles for Adrian Newey Red Bull, McLaren, and Williams.

India declares the US human rights report to be extremely biased and says it has no value.

Following accusations regarding team president Christian Horner, the British player told Red Bull he wanted to move on, according to the BBC and Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport, which broke the story first.

Horner was exonerated in February following accusations of inappropriate behavior toward a female employee, who has since filed an appeal.

Hamilton said he had lost touch with his leadership roots.
With three-time world champion Max Verstappen leading Red Bull, Newey has been a frequent target for elite teams.

Tech Mahindra paid a 560% dividend, but its Q4 profit fell short of expectations.

Given that the majority of the teams are situated in England, he has been hesitant to depart.

Aston Martin, headquartered in the United Kingdom, and Ferrari, which will welcome seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes the next season, have both been mentioned as potential future employers and have made overtures.

In 2007, two years after Newey went to Red Bull, Hamilton joined McLaren. With 21 victories from 22 races, the designer’s 2023 vehicle was the most successful in the history of the competition.

Verstappen has been publicly courted by Mercedes, which is currently having trouble following a spell of supremacy, as a potential 2025 replacement for Hamilton.

When the sport ushers in a new age of power units in 2026, Red Bull will be manufacturing its engine with support from Ford after concluding its partnership with Honda at the end of the following season.

When they leave a team, top technical workers like Newey are typically only allowed to take a short gardening leave. For this reason, Newey’s availability could not be imminent, though he may also choose to retire.

Since before the season began, Red Bull has been in disarray due to Horner’s public persona, disagreements with Verstappen’s father, Jos, and Red Bull motorsport consultant Helmut Marko.

The Verstappens and Formula One veteran Marko have a close relationship, with Max tying the Austrian’s continued presence to the team’s future.

Newey is seen as just as much the key to Red Bull’s success as Verstappen, even if the Briton is not a one-man band and has a team of highly-rated designers and aerodynamicists working with him.

Technical director Pierre Wache, in particular, has taken on a bigger role and is highly regarded, with Ferrari also known to be keen to recruit him.
