Mohammed Shami, a star pacer for the Indian cricket team, received the Arjuna Award Win on Tuesday. Shami has been playing quite well lately. At the Cricket World Cup 2023, he took the most wickets with 24 in seven games, setting a new record. The Arjuna and Dronacharya awards include a financial prize of Rs 15 lakh, but the Khel Ratna has a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
The awardees of the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award (2023) are Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy (badminton) and Chirag Shetty.
