Priyanka Chopra praises Parineeti’s film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’

Bollywood actors Priyanka Chopra, Triptii Dimri, and others are showing their appreciation for Imtiaz Ali’s latest film, ‘Amar Singh Chamkila.’

Priyanka took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to praise the film and its cast. She posted a film poster rating on her feed and congratulated Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra (whom she affectionately calls Tisha), and the team, saying it looks impressive.

She wrote, “Congratulations Imtiaz sir, Diljit, Tisha, and the team. Looks so good (sic).”

“Amar Singh Chamkila,” directed by Imtiaz Ali, tells the untold true story of Punjab’s first mass-popular rock star. He rose from poverty to fame in the 1980s thanks to the power of his music, but many people became angry along the way, which led to his death at the young age of 27.

Diljit plays “Chamkila,” the biggest-selling singer of his time. His powerful music helped him go from being poor to being very famous in the 1980s. Parineeti plays Amarjot Kaur, the wife of Amar Singh Chamkila.
Before it came out, Parineeti shared a sweet video of herself dancing to their famous song “Pehle Lalkare Naal.”

The interesting video shows Parineeti getting ready for the day in her vanity van while the soothing music of Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot plays in the background.

Sharing the video with her fans, Parineeti told them how much she admired the famous pair by saying, “Whatta song! The stories of Chamkila and Amarjot will never be told again.

From April 12, you can watch “Amar Singh Chamkila” on Netflix.
