YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav is granted bail with regard to a snake venom charge.

Diligent According to his attorney, YouTuber Siddharth, better known online as Elvish Yadav, has been granted bail by a Noida court in relation to a possible narcotics charge.

“Bail was granted in this case after the court heard the bail application. He must provide two ₹50,000 bail bonds, each of which must be filed with the court, according to Advocate Prashant Rathi.

However, according to attorney Deepak Bhati, who is also Yadav’s legal representative, it would take some time before Yadav leaves the Luksar Jail in Greater Noida, where he has been detained since March 17.

We have filed a lawsuit. We would want a preliminary acceptance of the bail bonds in order to expedite the issuance of the release order. Given that the court will be closed starting tomorrow for the Holi holidays, it might be released tonight or it might take a few days, Bhati told PTI.

On November 3, the five additional accused—who had been identified as snake charmers—were taken into custody at a banquet hall in Sector 51. At the moment, they are free on bond. Twenty milliliters of suspected snake venom was also taken from their possession, along with nine snakes—five of which were cobras—that were saved.

The case was lodged under provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, Indian Penal Code sections 120B (party to criminal conspiracy), 284 (negligent conduct related to poison that endangers human safety) and 289 (negligent conduct with respect to animals), according to police.
