Ankita recently said, in an interview with the news agency PTI, that she didn’t even read the script before accepting the role of Yamuna Bai in the biopic. I’ve always been aware of Veer Savarkar, therefore I couldn’t refuse the opportunity to play his wife. However, my fascination with Yamuna Bai increased as I learned more about her.”
Hooda’s extensive research for the role was acknowledged by the actor. “I’ve conducted a few investigations. Randeep had already arrived and had thoroughly studied each persona. It was because of him that I learned more about Yamuna Bai.”
