He added that people who had previously referred to his party as the BJP’s “B-team” were now anticipating AIMIM’s backing in the Lok Sabha polls.

Hyderabad: On Sunday, Akbaruddin Owaisi, the floor leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and a member of the Chandrayangutta MLA, declared that other political parties had tried, but were unable, to unseat the party led by Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad.

He said that those who had previously referred to his party as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) B-team are now anticipating AIMIM support in the next Lok Sabha elections, while speaking at the AIMIM headquarters during the Eid Milap celebration.

Akbaruddin Owaisi urges voters in Hyderabad to support AIMIM

The Chandrayangutta MLA urged Hyderabad residents to support Asaduddin Owaisi’s victory with a higher majority ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

“Let them contest with full strength as AIMIM is ready for the challenge,” Akbaruddin Owaisi remarked in response to the BJP and other parties fielding candidates from Hyderabad.

Owaisi made it clear on Saturday that AIMIM would not join a coalition with any party in preparation for Telangana’s impending Lok Sabha elections.

Feroz Khan said, “There is a compromise between AIMIM and the Congress party, so I am not in the race,” which prompted him to clarify. Mallikarjun Kharge, the High Command, will make the decision.

Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency
AIMIM has won the Hyderabad seat in the Legislative Session (LS) nine times in a row since 1989.

From 1984 until 1989, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi served as the constituency’s independent representative. AIMIM MP Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi represented the Lok Sabha constituency from 1989 to 2004.

Asaduddin Owaisi has represented the Hyderabad constituency as an MP since 2004.

The BJP is attempting to win the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat once more as the general elections of 2024 get near.
