The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has released the results for Class 12 HSC plus 2 on May 6. Students to access their TN HSC scorecards via the official websites – dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. The Tamil Nadu 12th grade results for 2024 were declared on Monday. Class 12 overall pass percentage stands at 94.56 percent.

According to the official schedule, the TN HSC +2 results for 2024 are scheduled to be unveiled promptly at 9:30 am on May 6. The early morning release ensures that students can promptly check their results and plan their next steps accordingly.

  • Step 1: Visit the TN board’s official website at tnresults.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Look for and click on the Class 12 result link, on the homepage.
  • Step 3: On the new window, enter the roll number and other details required. Then click on submit.
  • Step 4: The Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2024 will appear on the screen.
  • Step 5: Check and download the TN class 12 result.
  • Step 6: Keep a printout of the result for future needs

TN HSC Plus 2 Result Live Updates: How to Ensure Marksheet is Error-Free?

The online result is not exactly the mark sheet. The printout of the online result will act as a provisional mark sheet, however, it cannot be assumed that it is error-free. In case you find any error in the online results, alert the authorities at the earliest. Here’s what to look for in the mark sheet –

  • Personal details: Students can match their names, exam center name, date of birth, father’s name and spellings, etc from the admit card and ensure it is correct
  • Totalling: Calculations including the totaling of marks and percentage calculation should be correct.
  • Spelling: From the name of the student to the exam center, everything should be spelled correctly, in case of an error, this could impact prospects.

TNDGE Class 12th Result Live: Grades and Corresponding Percentages

A1 grades will be awarded to students who pass the HSC exam with a score of 90 percent or higher, while A2 grades will be awarded to those who pass with a score between 81 percent and 90 percent. Students that receive scores in the 35–40 percent range are awarded D grade. If a student’s score is less than 35 percent, they will be considered to have failed and will earn an E grade.
