A seamless transition will be ensured by selecting Ruturaj Gaikwad as captain while Dhoni is still in the game, the source continued.

Before to the commencement of the TATA IPL 2024, MS Dhoni has given Ruturaj Gaikwad the captaincy of the Chennai Super Kings.
