Actor Divya Agarwal has responded to divorce allegations concerning her spouse, Apurva Padgaonkar. She issued a lengthy letter on Instagram after followers speculated about problems in her marriage, mentioning that she had erased her wedding photos from social media. Divya said on Instagram that, while she removed many posts from her account, people only looked at those relating to her wedding.

“I didn’t say anything… I didn’t tell any stories… Divya posted on Instagram: “I deleted 2500 posts, but the media chose to see and react only to my marriage.”

She also stated that people have certain expectations of her, which she has continually defied.”It’s fascinating how people interpret and expect things from me. I’ve always done the unexpected. And now, what do they expect: babies or divorce? “Neither is happening (sic),” said the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ winner.

Additionally, Divya emphasised her desire to be recognised for her work and clarified that she and her husband are happily married. “In reality, the first pinned post on my profile (Cartel review) is what I want to be discussed from now onwards. Every movie concludes with a happily ever after, and by god’s grace, my husband is snoring away to glory right next to me (sic),” the actor concluded.

Divya Agarwal married restaurateur Apurva Padgaonkar on February 20, 2024. The wedding ceremony took place at her residence in Chembur. Reflecting on her husband Apurva, the ‘Cartel’ actor previously shared with ETimes, “He has brought me back to life. When my father passed away and left us, I had stopped going to the temple, I had stopped believing in things. But he reinstated faith in my life, so for that, I’ll always be grateful to him.”

Divya Agarwal was the runner-up of MTV Splitsvilla 10 in 2017. She also emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT in 2021. Additionally, she has appeared in the series Ragini MMS: Returns, Cartel, and Abhay.
