Manchu Manoj will play The Black Sword in his comeback film. The filmmakers released his first look on the actor’s birthday.

After an 8-year-long hiatus, actor Manchu Manoj is ready to return to the silver screen. His first look from Karthik Ghattamaneni’s Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, was released on his birthday, May 20. The first look introduces him as The Black Sword, a character that’s introduced as someone powerful.

The makers shared a video introducing Manoj’s character in the film. He’s introduced as the ‘most dangerous force in this world’, and we’re also shown a glimpse of his unique weapon. The video also showcases his fighting skills and the makeover the actor went through. He sports long hair and beard for his role, which seems like it could be morally ambiguous.

Sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter), Manoj wrote, “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time to present you all a new me a.ka. #TheBlackSword from #MIRAI. And can’t get a better occasion than this to give u all a special treat on my birthday with the glimpse!! Hope you’ll love it. It was a privilege joining forces with this very special team.”

About Mirai

Mirai also sees Teja as The Super Yodha; the makers released a video of his first look in April. The film, a fantasy drama, is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory. Mirai will explore the secrets of Ashoka’s 9 unknown books. Ritika Nayak also stars in the film that will see dialogues by Manibabu Karanam. Gowra Hari is composing the film’s music while Sri Nagendra Tangala is the art director. Mirai is slated for release in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on April 18 in 2D and 3D.

Kabir Khan has directed the film

A new day brings a fresh Chandu Champion poster with Kartik Aaryan. Kartik Aaryan is shown in the new grayscale image peering intently into the camera with an ab-tastic expression. His gloves are boxing gloves. The poster’s words are, “The man who refused to surrender.” “In the ring of life you have to keep fighting till your last breath to become a champion Champion Aa raha hai (The Champion is on his way)” was the caption that went with the poster. On June 14, Chandu Champion, which is helmed by Kabir Khan, will be released.

A poster from the film was released on Wednesday as well. Kartik Aaryan shared the poster on his Instagram profile along with the caption, “Champion Aa Raha Hai (The champion is on his way). Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career. Chandu Champion #14th june.”

Kartik Aaryan kickstarted the promotions of the film with his pet pooch Katori by his side.

Chandu Champion is “based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up”. With the film, the audience will see Kartik doing a film based on a real-life story in which he will portray the character of lead Chandu,” read a statement from the makers, reported news agency ANI.

Kartik Aaryan was last seen in the film Satyaprem Ki Katha, co-starring Kiara Advani. Last year, he also made a cameo appearance in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s sports film Chandu Champion. He also has an untitled project with Karan Johar in the line-up.

Kartik Aaryan made his Bollywood debut with Luv Ranjan’s 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama and he has been a part of movies such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Luka Chuppi , Guest Inn London and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. He also starred in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. He also starred in Netflix’s Dhamaka.

According to the latest reports from News18, following a series of tests, the medical team discovered the tumour, leading to concerns about a possible cancer diagnosis.

What happens in Bridgerton season 3?

Well, first of all, in case you haven’t noticed, season 3 will focus on Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington who, after years of being friends, finally inch closer and closer to a full blown, very spicy romance of their own.

The official synopsis of teases that Penelope has decided that it’s time to take a husband, after giving up on her long-held crush on Colin after hearing his negative words about her. However, Pen’s lack of confidence means she struggles to make a match.

Colin has returned from his summer travels, looking every inch the leading man, but is “disheartened” when he realises Pen is now giving him the cold shoulder.

“Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly,” the synopsis reads.

Elsewhere, teaser clips have hinted that Francesca’s debut will play a big part in season 3, Benedict finds himself with a new woman, and Anthony and Kate are still enjoying their honeymoon phase. Oh, and Eloise and Penelope’s friendship is still in the pits.

Zee TV’s popular Show – Kumkum Bhagya – has kept the audience on the edge of their seats through its engaging, intriguing, and dramatic storyline. In fact, after the 20-year leap in the show, audiences have been hooked on to the journey of the estranged couple Ranbir (Krishna Kaul) and Prachi’s (Mugdha Chaphekar) daughters- Poorvi (Rachi Sharma) and Khushi (Simran Budharup). Viewers recently saw how Rajvansh aka RV (Abrar Qazi) and Poorvi have slowly developed feelings for each other, despite all the differences. While circumstances keep RV and Poorvi from coming together for good on screen, actors Abrar and Rachi have become great friends in real life.

The fans of the show are already loving their on-screen chemistry and have created a hashtag for them- #RajVi. Considering the script’s demand, the actors are often seen fighting and arguing on-screen, but their off-screen bond is getting stronger by the day. They are not only just good friends but also help each other improvise their scenes and bring out the best in each other. Abrar also admires the style statement that Rachi follows and is learning a lot from her about fashion.

Abrar said, “The relationship between me and Rachi is obviously very different compared to what audiences get to watch on-screen. She is not only a great actor but a beautiful human being. She is very kind and a supportive co-actor to work with. Although we are almost opposite of each other, I believe it has made our bond stronger and our on-screen chemistry even better. We get to learn so much from each other, and now that I have spent so much time with her, I must add that she teaches me a lot about style and fashion. The way she can pick the right combinations when it comes to outfits, shoes, and accessories, is commendable, she is a pro! I think we complement each other on-screen and I couldn’t have asked for a better co-star.”_

While Abrar and Rachi have been having a great time shooting for the topsy-turvy track, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch if Rajvansh and Purvi’s closeness will bring them together or if Monisha (Srishti Jain) will create more obstacles for them.
