OnePlus phones to stop selling in offline stores starting May 1? Here is what the company has to say

A number of mobile retail chains have declared that they will no longer be selling OnePlus smartphones as of May 1st, citing unresolved difficulties with the brand. The business told India Today that it is collaborating with its partners to find solutions to the problems related to retail chains.

A number of mobile retail chains have declared that they will no longer be selling OnePlus smartphones as of May 1st, citing unresolved difficulties with the brand. OnePlus, a company well-known for its premium devices and devoted following of users, is devastated by this decision. India is one of the brand’s main markets, so losing there will be detrimental to the company.

Counterpoint recently pointed out that OnePlus expanded by 33% year over year in 2023, with offline expansion being one of the main drivers of that growth. The business told India Today that it is collaborating with its partners to find solutions to the problems related to retail chains.

“Over the past seven years, OnePlus has appreciated all of the assistance it has gotten from its reliable retail partners. In order to maintain our commitment to a solid and successful partnership moving forward, we are now working with our partners to resolve the issues mentioned,” a OnePlus spokesperson told India Today.

According to Money Control, the action taken by mobile shop chains stems from persistent disagreements and complaints that have not been settled between the retailers and OnePlus. The parties concerned have attempted to resolve these concerns, but have not been able to do so to a satisfactory degree, which is why the sales have been abruptly stopped.

“We have faced major challenges in selling OnePlus products over the last year, which have not yet been addressed. We had anticipated for a more productive partnership with OnePlus as recognized partners. In a letter dated April 10 to Ranjeet Singh, the director of sales of OnePlus India, Sridhar TS, president of the South Indian Organised Retailers Association (ORA), stated, “Unfortunately, the ongoing issues have left us with no alternative but to discontinue the sale of your products in our stores.”

The absence of prompt support and assistance from OnePlus in handling consumer complaints and service-related issues is one of the main grievances raised by the retail chains. This has negatively impacted OnePlus devices’ reputation in the market and overall sales by causing unhappiness among both merchants and customers.

New iPhone update suggests Palestinian flag emoji when you type in ‘Jerusalem’: What Apple said on ‘bug’

The emoji provoked claims that Apple was biased against Israel in light of the continuing fighting in Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of 33,207 Palestinians.

Apple announced that it will no longer propose the Palestinian flag emoji to certain iPhone users when they text “Jerusalem” in their messages. Apple blamed a software glitch for the prompt, telling news agency AFP that the iPhone keyboard’s predictive emoji suggestion was an accident and would be rectified in the upcoming update. Amidst the ongoing crisis in Gaza, where 33,207 Palestinians have been murdered in six months and the majority of the 2.3 million people living in the territory are homeless and at risk of starvation, the emoji provoked charges that Apple was biased against Israel.

The conflict began on October 7 when 1,200 people were killed in a cross-border raid by Hamas in southern Israel. More than 600 Israeli troops have reportedly died in action since then, according to the Israeli army.

British television presenter Rachel Riley brought attention to the Palestinian emoji option on social media when she posted, “When I type the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, I’m offered the Palestinian flag emoji,” on X (previously Twitter).

“Showing double standards with respect to Israel is a form of antisemitism, which is itself a form of racism against Jewish people,” she said, pointing out that no flag emojis were recommended when other capital cities were typed into iPhone texts.

She signed her post as “a Jewish woman concerned about the global rise in antisemitism,” yet she claimed that following a recent upgrade to the iPhone operating system, the Palestinian flag emoji started to appear in relation to Jerusalem.

On Monday, Vodafone Idea is going to launch a Rs 18,000–20,000 crore FPO.

Anchor investors have committed more than Rs 8,200 crore in equity to Vodafone, which is seeking to raise Rs 45,000 crore in debt and equity. Growth capex will be the primary use of the funds.

 Vodafone Idea

According to sources who spoke with Moneycontrol, Vodafone Idea (Vi) is getting ready to conduct a follow-on public offer (FPO) to raise between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000 crore by the middle of the following week.

As lead managers for the FPO—the biggest offers of its kind in India—the indebted telecoms operator has brought on Jefferies, SBI Caps, and Axis Capital. However, according to insiders, none of the banks are financing the project.

As of right now, the largest share sale in the Indian market has been Yes Bank’s Rs 15,000 crore FPO.

Adani Enterprises’ Rs 20,000-crore FPO in January 2023 was expected to surpass it, but the Gautam Adani flagship business canceled the offer after the Adani group was accused of multiple governance violations in a Hindenburg Research report.

According to sources, Vodafone Idea has received commitments from institutional investors, both domestic and overseas, indicating early support for the FPO.

According to sources, the government of India, which owns 33% of the company’s shares, supports the fundraising. However, some investors contacted the government before investing in the FPO.

Jefferies and Axis Capital declined to comment, while emails submitted to Vi and SBI Capital were not returned.

The decision was made amid financial difficulties and fierce competition in the telecom industry.

Due to a substantial debt load and operating losses that have been made worse by regulatory concerns, Vodafone Idea’s subscriber base and market share have been declining.

The preferential allotment of shares valued at Rs 2,075 crore to Oriana Investments Pte Ltd, a member of the promoter group and an Aditya Birla Group subsidiary, was approved by the Vodafone Idea board on April 5.

The issue price is Rs 14.87, which is more than the BSE’s closing price on Friday of Rs 13.36.

It is anticipated that the offering’s profits will give the business much-needed support and cash.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) data shows that in February, Vodafone Idea’s customer base decreased by 1 million, to 220.5 million. Due to customers switching to alternative service providers, the telco has been losing two to six million customers every quarter for the past few quarters. As of December 31, there were 215.2 million users of Vodafone Idea worldwide.

According to industry experts, to maintain subscriber retention and raise service quality, the telco must make immediate infrastructural investments.

The Vodafone Idea stock was down about 2 percent from the previous closing at 11.48 p.m. on the National Stock Exchange, trading at Rs 12.65.

Vodafone Idea: Rs. 18 billion FPO begins on April 18 with a floor price of Rs 10.

Vodafone Idea: Launching a Rs. 18 billion FPO to Start on a Path to Financial Revival

The telecom company Vodafone Idea announced on April 12 that subscriptions for its Rs 18,000-crore follow-on public offer (FPO) would begin on April 18. A floor price of Rs 10 per share and a ceiling of Rs 11 have been set for the issue.

The deal expires on April 22. The company stated in an exchange filing that the anchor bids will be accepted on April 16.

April 10 Vodafone Idea was preparing to start an FPO to raise Rs 18,000–20,000 crore. As lead managers for the FPO—the biggest offers of its kind in India—the indebted company has brought on Jefferies, SBI Caps, and Axis Capital.

A minimum bid lot of 1,298 equity shares is available to investors. For one batch of shares in the FPO, the minimum application amount, depending on the top end of the price band, is Rs 14,278. After that, bids in multiples of 1,298 equity shares are accepted from investors.

The company’s board approved raising Rs 20,000 crore via stock on February 27, which led to the FPO.

Preferential shares were recently issued by the company to Oriana Investments Pte Ltd, a promoter entity within the Aditya Birla Group, to raise a total of Rs 2,075 crore.

At Rs 14.87 a share, the shares were issued, representing a 40% increase over the FPO floor price.

The telecom operator is rumored to be in talks with banks to arrange loan finance in addition to the Rs 20,000 crore equity fundraise, bringing the total fundraise to Rs 45,000 crore when debt and equity are combined.

Brokerage CLSA recently stated that Vodafone Idea’s shares could drop to Rs 5 following the company’s 17 million subscriber loss over the previous 12 months.

Beyond its capex and 5G rollout, Vodafone Idea may face a financial crunch in fiscal year 2026 when annual spectrum and AGR payments worth up to $4 billion will fall due unless the government converts debt principal to equity at the end of the moratorium, it said.

The brokerage maintained its “sell” rating on the stock.

Shares of Vodafone Idea have doubled over the last 12 months, though the stock has corrected 30 percent from its recent peak.

For the April 12 session, the stock is in the F&O ban, which means no new positions can be created in the stock.

At 9.35 am, shares of Vodafone Idea were trading 2 percent lower at Rs 12.65 on the National Stock Exchange.

Apple alerts some Indian customers that Pegasus-style spyware may have compromised their iPhone.

Apple has sent a fresh round of threat notifications to some of its users in India. Along with 91 other nations, Apple has sent a new wave of danger notifications to some of its users in India, alerting them to the possibility that their iPhone was compromised by “mercenary spyware,” which includes the controversial Pegasus virus from the Israeli NSO Group.

Apple has not assigned blame to any stakeholder for the latest round of attacks. It had previously issued a similar alert in October of last year to opposition figures from all political parties, including Mahua Moitra of the TMC, Shashi Tharoor of Congress, and Raghav Chadha of the AAP, alerting them to a “potential state-sponsored spyware attack” on their iPhones.

The business later emphasized that it “does not attribute the threat notifications to any specific state-sponsored attacker” in response to government pressure.

The afflicted customers in India received the threat notification emails on Thursday, April 11, at approximately 12.30 am IST. How many people have actually gotten Apple’s threat notification is unknown. The email also makes reference to the Pegasus spyware developed by the NSO-Group, claiming that such tools are often used to target individuals all around the world.

A copy of the danger message, with the subject line “ALERT: Apple detected a targeted mercenary spyware attack against your iPhone,” has been seen by Todaysheadlines.news.

“Apple has discovered that the iPhone linked to your Apple ID -xxx- is the subject of a mercenary malware attack that aims to remotely corrupt it. You are probably the specific target of this attack because of who you are or what you do. The email message said, “Please take this warning carefully, since Apple has high confidence in its ability to detect such assaults, even though 100% assurance can never be achieved in this regard.

Attacks with mercenary spyware, like the ones that use Pegasus from the NSO Group, are incredibly uncommon and far more advanced than typical cybercrime or consumer malware. The targeting is ongoing and worldwide, but the attacks are expensive and targeted at a very limited number of individuals, according to Apple’s danger report.

The message-writing part of Google Messages has been modified!

The message composition area of Google Messages is presently split into two sections. The text input box is in the first area, while the smiley, gallery, and icons are in the second section, which is directly beneath the first one. This design has a great deal of white space. Google Messages People have been requesting that Google merge the two parts as a result. Nevertheless, the business has taken notice and is attempting to implement the adjustment.

A new report from 9To5 Google claims that the message composition area of Google Messages has been changed in the most recent beta version (20240404_01_RC00). It has the smiley button on the left, the gallery and icons on the right, and merely a text input box. The updated layout appears more elegant and takes up far less room. The Magic Compose icon appears in place of the gallery icon once the text is entered in the box.

Regretfully, by default, Google Messages does not display the updated message composition part. The new design had to be manually activated by the publication. We hope that when Google Messages releases its next beta, the firm will include it by default. After extensively testing the new design, which may take a few weeks or months, Google may decide to include it in the stable version of the app.

Google Messages will warn users about visiting links sent by unknown users via RCS

It has been revealed that Google will soon warn users about the risk of visiting links sent via RCS by users who aren’t on their contacts list. This feature isn’t live on the stable version of Google Messages yet and is under testing. It was spotted by Android enthusiast @AssembleDebug (via PiunikaWeb) in the latest beta version (20240402_01_RCO0) of Google Messages. An X user pointed out that this feature even works with links received via SMS. In recent Galaxy phones, the Google Messages app is the default SMS and RCS app instead of Samsung Messages.

Hopefully, Google knows about this bug and will release a fix for this issue. Keep an eye out for an update to the Google Play Store app on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet. You can check for the update by navigating to Settings » About » Update Play Store.

Discord finally catches up to Reddit with polling support!

Discord poll feature: Attractive emoji reply polls are history.

In Short

  • While social media platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram have welcomed short videos, Discord has stayed loyal to its mission of serving the community.
  • Finally, Discord now supports polls. Users can now construct polls with up to ten distinct responses and custom durations.
  • Poll moderators will find it easier to control the new functionality, which will also help to prevent arbitrary emoji reactions.

Discord app now offers a poll function that lets you ask your friends and community members to vote on a variety of topics. It ought to be an enjoyable method to spice up discussions throughout all of your platforms. Although conducting polls on Discord was theoretically feasible in the past, it was never a built-in feature. To make this work, you had to think of creative solutions, including letting users vote by responding to posts with emojis. After that, you would add up all of the responses to determine the winner.

However, enough of that silliness. There’s now a real mechanism to make and cast votes in polls in Discord. It will also be a lot simpler to trace them. As soon as a poll is generated, all of the alternatives are visible, and the results are updated as people vote for their favorites. Additionally, polls will be accessible through the mobile and desktop apps. The fact that not everyone can access polls at this time is the sole drawback.

How to make a poll on Discord

By selecting Poll from the menu that displays when you tap the + icon next to the message box in any channel, chat, or group conversation, you may start a new poll. Up to ten distinct responses, a poll description, and a poll duration (one, four, eight, one, three, or seven days) can all be set up using the poll creation user interface. You have the option of allowing respondents to select as few or as many options as they like.

Discord indicates the options you have chosen with a check mark, and surprisingly, you don’t have to worry about skewed results because some respondents were just interested in viewing the results. This is because Discord displays a button labeled “Show results” right next to the “Vote” option.

It is made clear in the feature’s support documentation that slash commands cannot be used to generate polls, and anonymous response gathering is also not possible. However, responses can be changed by anyone while the poll is still open, and anybody can create them. In the coming days, polling ought to be accessible on all Discord servers.

How to use polls on Discord

You can send polls in most places on Discord. If you can send messages in a channel, you’ll be able to create polls. If you can only view channels, you can vote in polls but not create your own.

Here’s how to create and send a Discord poll.

1. Open Discord and navigate to the server you want to send the poll to.
2. Click the plus sign (+) to the left of your message bar.
3. Click Poll.
4. Enter the poll name and options. You can add emojis, too.
5. Tap the arrow next to Duration to set how long it will be available.
6. Click Post in the upper right corner.

To vote in a poll, select the option you want and click Vote. You can’t vote anonymously, but you can change your vote until the poll closes.

This means that the 2025 4Runner could replace its 270-horsepower 4.0-liter V6 engine with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that could produce somewhere around 250 horsepower. Toyota new 4Runner could also include the Tacoma’s i-Force Max hybrid powertrain that pairs a four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, increasing the total output to 316 horsepower.

2025 Toyota 4Runner Arrives with Overland-Themed Trailhunter Trim!

Vivo T3 5G Launched With Dimensity, Is This The Mid-Range King?

When Can You Order A 2025 Toyota 4Runner?

According to a January 2024 report from TFL, the new 2025 Toyota 4Runner could be available for order by dealers in late fall or early winter, before the end of the 2024 calendar year. Another rumor suggests that the new 4Runner will be entering production in July 2024, which would set the highly anticipated SUV for a late-2024 arrival in showrooms.

2025 Toyota 4Runner Arrives with Overland-Themed Trailhunter Trim!

Similar to the Tacoma, the updated 2025 Toyota 4Runner Arrives with Overland-Themed Trailhunter Trim! comes with a new Trailhunter model that is loaded with off-road services.

  • The standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder, i-FORCE turbocharged engine generates 278 horsepower and 317 lb.-ft of torque.
  • The available i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain can provide up to 465 lb.-ft of torque and 326 horsepower.
  • The brand-new Trailhunter overlanding vehicle from Toyota is equipped with the newest integrated off-road gear from ARB®, Old Man Emu®, and RIGID Industries®.
  • Power liftgate optional; standard power rear window
  • Now available is the first-ever Platinum premium grade.
  • Accessible The newest Toyota Audio Multimedia is shown on a 14-inch touchscreen.
  • All models come with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard.
  • available in the fall of 2024

The New Toyota 4Runner 2025 shares several design cues with the Tacoma pickup truck, including a squared-off front end and a combination of four-cylinder gas and hybrid drivetrains. When the Toyota mid-size truck made its appearance for the 2024 model year, it also debuted under the new Trailhunter name. Now, the new 4Runner follows Tacoma’s off-road tire trail with its own overland exploration-focused Trailhunter model.

For people who wish to explore the wilderness in their vehicles, Toyota refers to the 4Runner Trailhunter as “a manufacturer-developed overland rig straight from the factory,” thus doing away with the necessity for third-party upfitters. The i-Force Max hybrid engine, which comprises a 2.4-liter turbo-4 coupled with an electric motor and a small 1.87-kWh battery, is the only one available for the Trailhunter.

326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque are produced overall. A high-mounted mask intake aids in providing clean air to the i-Force Max engine for swimmers.

 2025 Toyota 4Runner

Like the Tacoma model, the 4Runner was developed for Overlanding and replaces the Fox QS3 dampers found on the TRD Pro with Old Man Emu 2.5-inch ones that have ARB’s external reservoirs at the rear. With 33-inch Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires, the Trailhunter variant also sits 2.0 inches higher up front and 1.5 inches higher up back than other 4Runner models. The Trailhunter shares the same front twin control-arm suspension and rear multilink arrangement as other 2025 4Runner, except for improved dampers. In addition, the Trailhunter has a front anti-roll bar that disconnects and an electronic locking rear differential as standard equipment.

The Trailhunter includes steel skid plates and rock rails mounted straight to the frame to protect its important parts. Bronze wheels with color-matched Toyota grille badging and a bespoke ARB roof rack made especially for the 4Runner Trailhunter are two further distinctive visual components. A 20-inch LED light strip is also located in the grille to brighten up dark trails, and the bumper’s rigid LED fog lamps have a color-changing feature.

Additionally, Toyota outfitted the Trailhunter with a 2400-watt AC inverter that supplies power to outlets located in both the rear cargo area and the cabin. Owners can simply add even more personalization to their SUVs with the three pre-wired auxiliary switches, and the i-Force Max powertrain provides a 6000-pound tow capability. Inside, the Trailhunter differs from its more usual siblings thanks to trim-specific components.

In the fall of this year, the is expected to start showing up at dealerships. Pricing has not yet been announced, but we anticipate the Trailhunter to be in the upper end of the spectrum, costing approximately $60,000.

2025 4runner price: Right now the price of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner is expected to start around $45,000 and go up to $60,000 depending on the trim. With rumors of a complete redesign including a new platform, powertrains, and updated design, the next-gen 2025 Toyota 4Runner is shaping up to be a great improvement over previous models.

6th Gen 4runner

The 6th Gen 4runner off-road SUV had a successful 15-year run, but the sixth-gen’s new powertrains and upgraded frame make it easy to move on.

Identical to a Tacoma SUV More Than Before

Although the 4Runner’s new front-end design isn’t a Tacoma copy, it does look a lot like one. With a bigger track and three more inches of total body width, its posture is also similar. Similar to the Tacoma, the majority of the additional width is derived from pronounced fender flares that extend further to conceal the wider track of the suspension. The Toyo Open Country AT III tires installed on the TRD Pro and Trailhunter are sized at 265/70R-18, which corresponds to 33 inches tall, however, many precise measurements have not yet been disclosed.

Like the Tacoma, the 4Runner’s wheelbase has been extended up front to provide greater body-mount clearance, making larger tires of this kind possible. Due to the area’s relative lack of daylight, it was difficult to fit larger tires into earlier models of both vehicles. This translates to a 2.4-inch increase in wheelbase for the 4Runner (from 109.8 to 112.2 inches), putting it in line with the new Land Cruiser, the Lexus GX550, and even the Lexus LX600. The rear side window’s upper border rolls into the roof in a nod to the 4Runner’s first- and second-generation predecessors, while the vehicle’s new style jogs up past the rear doors farther back, giving the impression that its rear haunches are even more powerful.

The center stack, instrument cluster, and every button, switch, and knob within are all the same as those in the new Tacoma, including the controls for the part-time four-wheel-drive transfer case (full-time on the Platinum and some Limited models). Some models come with the same 14.0-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard, while others just have it available. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Aside from the differing material and color selections for the TRD Pro and Trailhunter versions we evaluated, the overall inside style is also identical. This is excellent news because our recent test of the Tacoma TRD Off-Road demonstrated how well-thought-out, practical, and simple to use the inside is.

Two Familiar New Engines

The 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four i-Force, which powers the toyota 4 runner, shares the same 278 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque as the Tacoma. This engine will be the only one available for the SR5 and TRD Sport, and it will be the standard configuration for the TRD Off-Road and Limited. It will only be backed by an eight-speed automatic. In a recent comparison test between a Tacoma TRD Off-Road and a Chevy Colorado ZR2, we were very satisfied with this combination. The i-FORCE performed admirably, matching the much more powerful Chevy step for step and clocking in at the same 6.8-second 60-mph pace.

The 4.0-liter V-6 engine of the departing 4Runner, on the other hand, only generated 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque, and because of the outdated five-speed automatic transmission it is mated to, it feels lazier than that shortfall suggests. Although the new model’s fuel efficiency is unknown, it will undoubtedly surpass that of the thirsty V-6/five-speed combination.

 2025 Toyota 4Runner

Latest Tech

4Runner receives Toyota’s latest technology with new screens. A new 8-inch or available 14-inch multimedia touchscreen displays Toyota’s latest Audio Multimedia system, which is designed and engineered by Toyota’s Texas-based Connected Technologies team. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ compatibility and pairs well with the available Qi wireless charging pad with enhanced power output. A USB-C data and charging port is integrated on the right side of the multimedia touchscreen, and dual USB-C charging ports are included in the front row and available for the rear passengers. A 7-inch gauge cluster is standard on lower grades and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is standard on higher grades.

Smart Key System with push-button start is standard in all grades. With an active Remote Connect trial or subscription, an available Digital Key on select grades connects with compatible smartphones to allow vehicle entry, and vehicle starting (4G network dependent). The Digital Key can also be remotely shared with others to give more control over vehicle access rather than giving someone the physical key.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 Standard

All 2025 4Runner models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, Toyota’s suite of active safety and convenience systems. This suite of features includes:

  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
  • Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
  • Lane Tracing Assist
  • Road Sign Assist
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Proactive Driving Assist

The latest addition to Toyota Safety Sense is Proactive Driving Assist. When system operating parameters are fulfilled, Proactive Driving Assist (PDA) employs the camera and radar in the vehicle to help with driving tasks such as maintaining space between your vehicle and an oncoming car, pedestrian, or bike by gently applying brakes and/or steering. Additionally, PDA can offer gradual braking into corners. Proactive Driving Assist functions differently from the Pre-Collision System and should not be used in place of it.

Including the addition of Proactive Driving Assist, the Toyota Safety Sense features have been enhanced for TSS 3.0:

  • The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection has enhanced detection capabilities thanks to new system sensors. It receives enhanced intersection support with improved detection capability in certain circumstances. In addition to pedestrian and bicyclist detection, this system now includes the capability to detect a motorcyclist.
  • Lane Departure Alert will now provide Steering Assist as well as enhanced lane recognition that includes the detection of certain 3D objects, like guardrails, that may be used to help define the lane.
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control will have Full-Speed Range capability and add a fourth following distance setting, from the previously available three. Enhanced vehicle detection allows for the ability to detect more than one preceding vehicle, as well as vehicles in adjacent lanes. This helps the system to provide smoother, more natural speed adjustments, especially when the driver changes lanes.
  • Lane Tracing Assist requires Dynamic Radar Cruise Control to be enabled for it to function. The system requires detectable lane markings to function. Like Lane Departure Alert, lane recognition is enhanced over prior TSS generations. In addition to lane centering, this system also helps provide more space between vehicles being passed in adjacent lanes. It works by offsetting the vehicle’s driving path with minor steering adjustments while keeping the vehicle within its lane.
  • An Emergency Driving Stop System is a new function of Lane Tracing Assist. It’s designed to monitor the driver’s inputs, such as steering operation, to determine if they’re inattentive or non-responsive, such as during a medical emergency. This feature is designed to bring the vehicle to a stop if the driver doesn’t respond to alerts to take control.
  • Road Sign Assist is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs, yield signs, and certain warning signs, and display an icon of the sign on the Multi-Information Display (MID).

In addition to TSS 3.0, two other features are available: Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), which is designed to help detect and warn you of vehicles approaching or positioned in the adjacent lanes; and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), which helps detect vehicles approaching from either side while backing out and alerts you with a visual and auditory warning. In addition, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) is a standard function.

Vivo T3 5G Display

display

With a 6.67-inch FHD+ Amoled Display, this phone offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, a descent upgrade to its predecessor, T2! Peak brightness can go as high as 1800 nits. Although the chin looks traditional while using the phone it fits perfectly, especially while doing mobile gaming. You can see a punch hole display with the punch located at the center of the phone which looks classy.

Design & Features

In terms of Design and features, this phone is powered with MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G. Another standout feature is its AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This phone also has a dual speaker which provides an immersive experience while listening to music or watching videos. The dual speaker function is also quite a handful while playing games.

Well, what caught my sight was its Sony OIS Anti-Shake camera. As you will hold the phone you will notice a 3 camera setup but the third one is not the actual camera. It is designed for an anti-flickering effect. And when I tested this function it is working and feels pretty amazing. In terms of controlling the flickering effect this phone no doubt competes with some premium phones too.

But what is missing is that you won’t be seeing any telephoto camera. I believe Vivo wanted to test out this feature and it is understandable given the advancement they have bought.

You can also enjoy extended RAM support. With the RAM extender, you can add up to 8GB of RAM to existing 8GB. This phone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 44 W Flash charge. This is a pretty descent combination I believe given the price range given that it is also IP54 dust and water-resistant.

IP54 rating in vivo t3 5g

This phone also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner. The fun touch OIS is specially designed according to Android 14 so it provides seamless compatibility. One other fact about Funtouch OIS is that it provides lots of customization options, from attractive widgets to fun Always-On Display.

The Game Turbo provides many handy features while playing games such as a game booster, video recording, and the trendy voice changer.

Vivo T3 5G Camera

The phone supports a triple camera sensor with a primary 50MP Sony IMX882 camera, and it is supplemented by a 2 MP micro lens the third one is an anti flickering sensor, which again I would say is pretty amazing.

Vivo T3 5G Camera

In the front, you can see a 16MP camera with a punch-hole display setup. Overall camera shots were pretty decent and have been adjusted according to the Indian skin tone. Plus, you can record 4K videos with ultra-low shake.

Also, one interesting feature that I missed is the dual flashlights. If you observe closely the flashlight setup, you can see 2 different flashlights separated by a sliver frame. Probably this feature is given to provide more balanced color perfection in low lights.

In terms of software and performance of the camera, there are several modes given. Among all the modes, the cyberpunk mode and the assisted camera pose mode took my sight. Other than this you can also see super night mode and Super Moon mode, Clear content mode for documents, and many more!

Vivo T3 5G Performance

vivo t3 processor

Well, the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC performs well at this price range. Vivo T3 5G score is advertised at 734,924+ which is a pretty decent number. And when it comes to performance what could be better than testing out some heavy games on this phone? While opening normal apps there is no delay and I also have tested out BGMI & CODM on this phone. Both apps work fine on the phone. You can play BGMI at Ultra graphics.

The 5,000mAh battery ensures that you are getting a good time of usage without charging too much. Also, the 120 Hz refresh rate offers a good experience.

One more thing that I wanted to share is that, when you turn the game booster on while playing the games, you can see an improvement in maintaining the FPS and you will see no frame drops. The design is made in a way that it will boost your video-watching and gaming experience.

Since the announcement, this phone has been compared to the Narzo 70 5G and IQOO Z9. So if you are not satisfied with this phone you can go either with Narzo 70 5G or IQOO Z9. Both are viable options!

Bottom Line

T3 seems a good update to the T2. A lot of new features are introduced in this model. Features like the Anti-lickering sensor in this mid-range phone are comparable to the flagship phones. In my opinion, this is a worthy upgrade. As Vivo has good outreach in India, so in case you find any fault in the piece there won’t be much hustle finding and getting an appointment from the service centre. Also, this model supports Android updates for 2 years and security updates for 3 years. It means you will be able to enjoy updates up to Android 16. However, looking at the trend, there should have been at least 4 years of security updates and 3 years of Android updates. But again looking at the price range at which all these flagship features are offered, it is workable.
