A seamless transition will be ensured by selecting Ruturaj Gaikwad as captain while Dhoni is still in the game, the source continued.
Before to the commencement of the TATA IPL 2024, MS Dhoni has given Ruturaj Gaikwad the captaincy of the Chennai Super Kings. Ruturaj joined the Chennai Super Kings in 2019 and has participated in 52 IPL games while with them. The group is excited about the forthcoming campaign,” CSK wrote on social media on March 21.
