“This is not how a prime minister would talk. I mistakenly believed that the video was produced by AI. PM believes that the Indian public is gullible and easily swayed. The law does not exempt him. “This does not imply that you will give away your fortune to someone. This refers to the need to develop new laws in order to stop wealth concentration. It resembles the Monopoly Act, he remarked.

If a person is worth $100 million USD, the government will likely take about $55% of his money, leaving just around 45% for his offspring to inherit. What a fascinating law that is. It says that because you are leaving your generation and have amassed fortune, you must leave half of your wealth—not all of it—to the public, which seems fair to me,” he remarked.
It is important to note that there is no federal inheritance tax in the United States. Inheritable assets are subject to taxes in a few states, including Pennsylvania, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, and New Jersey. The amount of the inheritance and the deceased person’s relationship determine how much tax is due. This tax can reach about 20% of the inheritance and is only applied beyond a specific level.
According to Mr. Pitroda, this is a matter of policy. The Congress party would present a plan that would improve wealth distribution. In India, there is no minimum wage. The distribution of wealth would occur if the nation established a minimum wage that required people to give the poor a certain amount of money. Rich people today underpay their housekeepers, peons, and servants in favor of taking vacations in Dubai and London, the speaker claimed.

The BJP, not one to back down in the midst of an election, took Mr. Pitroda’s comments as an opportunity to intensify their criticism of the Congress.
