Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, who attended the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ayhodhya’s grand Ram Mandir, met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath after the event.
Devotees celebrated with enthusiasm the historical moment of the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ ceremony on Monday.
Taking to social media platform X, the Uttar Pradesh CM shared the pictures and wrote, “Ram-Ram to everyone! May the blessings of Lord Shri Ram be upon all of you.”

Following the ceremony, Big B and Abhishek, who had arrived in Ayodhya on Monday were seen meeting with Yogi Adityanath.

Amitabh Bacchan was seen greeting Adityanath with folded hands and speaking with him before Abhishek joined them.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also pictured exchanging pleasantries with Amitabh Bachchan on Monday.
PM Modi, who led the rituals during the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at his majestic abode in Ayodhya, was seen greeting the ‘Big B’ with folded hands which the actor returning the gesture.
Significantly, Amitabh Bachchan had recently purchased a 10,000-square-feet plot in Ayodhya
Confirming the development, Shanti Bhushan Choubey, the registrar of Ayodhya Registrar told ANI earlier, “As part of the same agreement, two documents have been presented…it is a 10,000 square feet plot for which a transaction of Rs 9 crore has been done. The second party, who happens to be Amitabh Bachchan, gave his agreement to the purchase while his attorney, Rajesh Yadav, executed it.”
Besides Big and Abhishek, several other A-listers and who’s who of the Indian film and entertainment industry, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit, Subhash Ghai and Sonu Nigam were in attendance at the Pran Patishtha ceremony.
The event saw the participation of about 8,000 invitees, including 1,500-1,600 eminent guests.

As the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony unfolded, army choppers were pictured showering petals on the temple.
PM Modi also showered petals on workers, who were a part of the construction team that shaped the grand Ramn Temple.
He was also seen sprinkling flowers on the idol of Jatayu at the Ram Temple premises and also offered prayers to Lord Shiva in Ayodhya Dham.
The Ram Lalla idol was unvieled during the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’, which involved hour- long rituals led by Prime Minister Modi.

Veteran actor Hema Malini shared pictures from the ‘Pran Prathishta’ ceremony of Ram Lalla at the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday.
The actor took to social media platform X to share a series of pictures of herself.
“I feel blessed to have attended the historical and spiritually enriching Pran Prathishta of Ram Lalla – an event awaited by our nation for 500 yrs,” she said.

Earlier, Hema told, “All Indians should be proud of it (Ram Temple in Ayodhya). It is important to connect with it.”
“I am fortunate to be here during this time. The whole of Bollywood is ‘Ramamay’… The artists are singing Ram songs. I also sang a Ram Bhajan last year. Everybody is preparing everything for Lord Ram,” she added.
In the pictures, Hema wore a yellow-coloured saree with a pink-colored blouse and teamed it with a red shawl. She completed her look with a statement-layered necklace and kept her hair in a bun.
Notably, the magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.
The main entrance to the Mandir is situated on the eastern side, which can be approached by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. There are a total of five Mandaps (Halls) in the Mandir – Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap and Kirtan Mandap. Near the Mandir is a historic Well (Sita koop), dating back to the ancient era. In the southwestern part of the Mandir complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored, along with the installation of a statue of Jatayu.
The foundation of the Mandir has been constructed with a 14-metre-thick layer of roller- compacted concrete (RCC), giving it the appearance of artificial rock. No iron is used anywhere in the Mandir. For protection against ground moisture, a 21-foot-high plinth has been constructed using granite. The Mandir complex has a sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, water supply for fire safety and an independent power station. The mandir has been constructed employing the country’s traditional and indigenous technology.

Congress ‘declines’ invitation to Lord Ram Lalla ‘Pran Pratistha’, calls it an “RSS, BJP event”

New Delhi [India], January 10 (ANI): Calling the Ram Temple inauguration an event of the
BJP and RSS, Congress has turned down the invitation for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony
of Lord Ram Lalla, scheduled later this month in Ayodhya.

The senior Congress leaders–Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan
Chowdhury–have ‘declined! the invitation for the grand event in Ayodhya, the party’s
general secretary Jairam Ramesh said in a statement.

“Last month, the Congress President and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha
Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi
and the Leader of the Congress Party in the Lok Sabha Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury
received an invitation to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir at
Ayodhya to be held on January 22nd, 2024,” he said in the statement.

“Lord Ram is worshipped by millions in our country. Religion is a personal matter. But
the RSS/BIP have long made a political project of the temple in Ayodhya. The
inauguration of the incomplete temple by the leaders of the BJP and the RSS has been

judgment and honouring the sentiments of millions who revere Lord Ram, Shri

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at
the grand temple on January 22. As per temple officials, the ceremony will be held over a span of seven days starting from January 16.

Preparations are underway in full swing for the Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ on January
22, which will draw dignitaries and people from all walks of life. The Shri Ram
Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-
sanctorum of the Ram Temple at noon on January 22. Vedic rituals for the Pran-
Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.

A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the
consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22. From January 14 to January 22,
Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahotsav. Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, holds
great spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for the people of India.

Ram Temple on January 22 in Ayodhya as the “biggest win” for all the “Hindus and
Sanatani”, Bageshwar Dham‘s Dhirendra Shastri on Friday said that Lord Ram devotees
across the world had been waiting for this day.

Shashtri, who has been invited for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, said
that the event is more special than the festival of Diwali.

“It is the biggest win for all the Hindus and Sanatani. This event is more special than the
festival of Diwali…All Lord Ram devotees across the world have been waiting for this
day.

He further urged people to “celebrate Diwali” on January 22, the day of consecration of Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“| just wanted to say on the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple please celebrate
Diwali and celebrate it with joy,” he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested people to refrain from visiting Ayodhya in large numbers in view of security and logistical reasons.

Acknowledging that Lord Ram’s devotees are eager to be part of the inauguration day of
Ram Mandir, PM Modi said that only a few people have been invited to the inauguration ceremony.

on January 22. But you know it is not possible for everyone to come. Therefore, | request
all Ram devotees that once the formal program is done on 22nd January, they should

on 22nd January,” PM Modi said while addressing a mega public gathering in Ayodhya.
