Real-time Arvind Kejriwal Arrest News: Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was detained on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case involving excise laws. Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the AAP, is detained for the first time as a chief minister in office. In the excise policy-related money laundering case, the Delhi High Court had earlier denied a plea attempting to shield the Delhi Chief Minister from coercive action.

After that, the Enforcement Directorate started searching Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, at his Civil Lines residence. Up until today, the Chief Minister of Delhi has ignored roughly nine ED summonses that were sent to him over the money laundering case.

AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi commented on Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, saying, “This is the first time the central government has detained a sitting chief minister. This is the first time in the history of the nation that a national party’s national convenor has been taken into custody following the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections. The arrest of Arvind Kejriwal is a political plot by the BJP.

Live Updates on Arvind Kejriwal’s Arrest News: The planned political party demonstration at DDU Marg in Delhi is expected to cause traffic jams in IP Marg, Vikas Marg, Minto Road, and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. DDU Marg will stay closed to through traffic. Please stay off these roads and make appropriate travel plans, the Delhi Traffic Police tweeted on X. “ITO Metro station will remain closed from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM today, i.e., 22nd March 2024,” the DMRC tweeted earlier.
