Greta Gerwig is the president of the Feature Film Jury this year. She is a four time Oscar nominee. As America’s first female director, she will create history in this regard.

“As a film enthusiast, I enjoy watching, creating, and discussing films. For a cinema enthusiast like me, Cannes has always represented the height of the medium’s potential. My favorite spot to be is in a dark, crowded theater with strangers, watching a brand-new movie,” Gerwig stated in a statement. Actors Pierfrancesco Favino, Eva Green, and Omar Sy; filmmakers Juan Antonio Bayona, Kore-eda Hirokazu, and Nadine Labaki; novelist and photographer Ebru, in addition to Greta, were also present.

A day ago, Kartik Aaryan shared a sneak peek of the film’s first poster on social media. However, things took a surprising turn when his mischievous feline companion, Katori interrupted his promotional diaries. Katori playfully contributed to the promotional efforts by ‘assisting’ in tearing apart the poster. Sharing the video on Instagram, he wrote, “Aaj se promotion ka shubharambh hona tha lekin. Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion narrates the story of a sportsman’s resilience and determination. Kartik Aaryan steps into the role of Chandu. Reportedly, the film is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming.

For the unversed, this collaboration marks Kartik Aaryan’s first project with director Kabir Khan.

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha, co-starring Kiara Advani. Last year, he also made a cameo appearance in Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He also has an untitled project with Karan Johar in the line-up.

HBO’s hit Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon season 2, is set to premiere in June. The new season will continue the story of the Targaryen dynasty, which takes place nearly 200 years before the events in Game of Thrones.

Under the Accord, nations are obliged to attempt to keep global warming to 1.5°C, and greenhouse gas emissions must peak by 2025 at the latest and decrease by 43% by 2030.

How did Earth Day first originate?

Earth Day originated in the US a few months after a massive oil spill off the California coast. US Senator Gaylord Nelson had sought to “infuse the energy of student anti-war protests with an emerging public consciousness about air and water pollution” during this time. He recruited activist Denis Hayes to organize campus teach-ins and scale the idea to a broader public. The duo chose April 22 as the date — then a weekday falling between Spring Break and Final Exams — to maximize student participation.

Lifetime is getting ready to launch “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” in time for the 30th anniversary of the 1994 killings of Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

A brand-new documentary on Nicole Brown Simpson’s life and tragic murder is being produced by Lifetime.

Following O.J. Simpson’s passing, PEOPLE has learned that Nicole Brown Simpson, the controversial football player’s wife, will be the subject of a new two-part documentary titled “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson,” which is tentatively scheduled to premiere in June. Nicole was found murdered inside the Brentwood, California home she shared with her husband in 1994.

The documentary, for which Lifetime has conducted interviews with over fifty individuals, including Nicole’s sisters and other relatives and friends, will be released on June 12, 1994, the day marking the thirty-first anniversary of her murder. There will also be never-before-seen archive material.

The 35-year-old mother of two passed away. After seven years of marriage, she and O.J. welcomed a daughter named Sydney and a son named Justin.

That June 1994 evening in California also resulted in the discovery of Ronald Goldman, Nicole’s acquaintance, dead at the Simpson residence.

After being taken into custody for the killings after a slow-speed pursuit in Los Angeles that was widely reported, O.J. was ultimately found not guilty of any crimes in what became known as the “Trial of the Century.”

In a 1997 civil lawsuit about the killings, he was later held responsible and sentenced to prison for unrelated offenses.

The violent life of the former football star has been the subject of several documentaries over the years, but Nicole’s perspective and experience with domestic abuse are reportedly the focus of Lifetime’s next project. The network’s Stop Violence Against Women initiative covers the project.

Simpson passed away on Wednesday, April 10, at the age of 76 from cancer, as his family announced on X on Thursday, April 11.

“Our father, Orenthal James Simpson, lost his fight with cancer on April 10. His kids and grandkids were all around him, according to the family statement. “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,” the message continued.

The June debut date of the Nicole documentary is tentative and will take place over two nights.

As a part of this, we got to see Punjabi Rapper Ikka Singh(formerly, Young Amli) in the house, and believe me with the rap battles, the show was an entirely different energy and vibe. Well, as always we will be discussing every hot news unfiltered in Playground Season 3 Episode 23 Highlights!

After the contestants met with their parents and relatives, everyone was putting their die-hard efforts for the upcoming rap battle. As the news of Ikka Singh coming in the Episode 23 of Playground Season 3, arrived everyone started to pull out the creative and entertaining side of themselves. In a sense, all the contestants were seen spitting out their inner feelings through the rap.

Valence, while he and Chirag were sharing their common feelings for Sway, told Chirag that if he wanted, would diss Sway in a way that she wouldn’t be able to digest the words but again as he has a soft corner towards Sway he wouldn’t do that!

Ikka Singh Is Here To Add a Twist to the Game!

Clearly, Ikka Singh was the highlight of Playground 3 Episode 23. As Ikka made his entry in the show, he little chit-chat with Arohi & Valence, digging out what’s hidden inside their heart as a warm-up of the rap battle.

Ikka assigned a task in which each contestant has a chance to earn rumbles if they stay unfiltered, apparantly each contestant will come on stage and label other contenders as King, Joker & Slave! After this, now the time was, to begin with the rap battle! I would say you should watch the show instead to enjoy the rap battle of the contestants. But if I had to give a review, I would say it was pretty unfiltered. It was feeling that the contestants were fighting with each other, rather than having a rap battle.

Even there was a stance when Lekha and Prem went into a heated argument about getting into the personal lives of each other. Even though Ikka righteously mentioned that diss rap is more than just using foul language. He also added, although in a humorous way, that it was the worst Diss Rap Battle he had ever seen after the performance of BT Android!

Playground 3 contestants were divided for the rap battle as follows;

  • Himanshu vs BT & Arohi vs Chill Gamerz,
  • Pingu vs Nishu & Lekha vs Prem,
  • Sway vs Kushal & JJ vs Valence,
  • Tanu vs Abhinav vs Aditya

Well, the highlight of the episode was that it was a completely fun battle. However, some moments misdirected the flow of the show. For example, how Lekha & Prem got into heated arguments so much that, they even used foul language against each other. Lekha even complained that Prem shouldn’t have talked about her family issues.

The argument gained momentum when Ikka and the host left the room. It was the second incident since the Himanshu and Adi. Now, it would be interesting to see how the mentors gonna handle the situation. I think some tough calls are on the way!

Well, as usual, after this incident all of the players were divided into two groups. Looking majorly, it was almost boys vs girls now.

Playground 3 Episode 23 Battle Results

This episode had given players a good chance to earn a huge amount of rumbles. There were 4 winners, listes below;

  • 1st Place – Himanshu with the award of 1.8M Rumbles!
  • 2nd Place – Shared by Valence & Abhinav with 900K Rumbles each!
  • 3rd Place – Lekha with 400K Rumbles

Furthermore, as a surprising gift, Ikka gave Arohi a Pink Ball for her confident performance. The usage however is kept secret as of now but an indication was given that Pink Ball can benefit her in the future!
