LSG Owner Sanjiv Goenka in an Animated chat with KL Rahul in Hyderabad: Video Goes Viral.

IPL 2024: A video of LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka having an animated chat with captain KL Rahul after their 10-wicket loss in Hyderabad went viral. SRH chased down 166 in just 9.4 overs to hand Lucknow their biggest defeat in tournament history.

  • LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul were seen discussing the team’s loss
  • LSG were handed a 10-wicket thrashing by SRH in Hyderabad
  • SRH chased down 166 in 9.4 overs to set a new T20 record

Owner of the Lucknow Indian Premier League franchise, Sanjiv Goenka, was seen having an animated conversation with captain KL Rahul after the Super Giants suffered their biggest defeat in a crucial IPL 2024 match to SunRisers in Hyderabad on Wednesday, May 8. Visuals of Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul chatting along the boundary rope at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, minutes after LSG’s 10-wicket defeat, went viral on social media.

The disappointment in the Lucknow camp was evident as owner Sanjiv Goenka, captain KL Rahul and the rest of his teammates looked gutted following the loss, which hampered the team’s chances of reaching the IPL 2024 playoffs. LSG had headed to Hyderabad with high hopes of extending their perfect record against former champions SunRisers. However, SRH were on top of their game, limiting LSG to 165 and then chasing down the total in just 9.4 overs to set a new T20 record.

LSG slipped to the sixth spot in the points table and their Net Run Rate took a huge hit after the one-sided game in Hyderabad. Lucknow has 12 points in as many games, 2 fewer than third-placed SunRisers.

KL Rahul paid the price for being timid on the field. While he won the toss and opted to bat, lack of intent in the powerplay cost the visiting team. LSG managed just 27 runs and lost 2 wickets at the end of the powerplay while SunRisers, thanks to Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head’s ruthless knocks, reached 107 at the end of their powerplay. The 80-run difference between the two teams’ totals in the powerplay is also the highest in IPL history.

KL Rahul was criticized by a section of fans and pundits. The LSG captain played an uncharacteristically slow knock — 29 off 33 balls. Thanks to Ayush Badoni’s fifty and Nicholas Pooran’s 4quick-fire 48, LSG was able to post 165 and give their bowlers something to work with.

However, SRH openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were in the mood to hit some big ones. Head hit 8 sixes and as many boundaries for his 30-ball 89 while young Abhishek smashed 6 sixes and 8 boundaries for his 28-ball 75. The duo added 167 runs for the opening partnership and steered SRH past the finish line in record time.

I AM LOST FOR WORDS: RAHUL

KL Rahul echoed the emotions of millions of cricket fans who watched SunRisers make a mockery of the 166-run target, acknowledging the incredible big-hitting show from Head and Sharma.

“I am lost for words,” he said while talking to the broadcasters after the one-sided contest.

“We have watched that kind of batting on TV. But this is unreal batting. Everything seemed to find the middle of the bat. Kudos to their skills. They have worked hard on their six-hitting skills. They didn’t give us a chance to know what the pitch played in the second innings,” he added.

LSG Owner will look to bounce back and return to winning ways when they take on Delhi at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 14. They will end the league stages with a trip to Mumbai on May 17. Rahul and LSG have a proud record to keep up as the Lucknow-based franchise has never failed to make the playoffs in their nascent IPL history.

Thirupathanna and N Bhujanga Rao, the accused men, were detained for planning to conduct unlawful surveillance with another police officer.

According to a PTI story on Monday, the Hyderabad Police have detained two additional senior officers in relation to the Telangana phone tapping case.

The issue concerns the alleged surveillance of multiple individuals’ phones, allegedly including Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, during the previous year’s Assembly elections, as well as the destruction of specific computer systems and government data.

In response to a report submitted by D Ramesh, an additional superintendent of police with the Special Intelligence Bureau, D Praneeth Rao, a suspended deputy superintendent of police, was taken into custody on March 13.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Thirupathanna and Additional Superintendent of Police N Bhujanga Rao were detained on suspicion of conspiring with Praneeth Rao, the police said in a statement on Saturday, according to PTI.

“The two police officers have admitted to participating in the reported crimes during questioning. Former intelligence official allegedly involved

Praneeth Rao’s statement was included in the police’s remand report that was presented to a Hyderabad court. According to Deccan Chronicle, Rao claimed that he participated in the purported phone tapping and data destruction on former Special Intelligence Bureau chief T Prabhakar Rao’s orders.

Praneeth Rao stated, “Prabhakar Rao told me to get engaged in phone tapping, he would take care of my promotion.” “Tapped phone numbers from Thirupatanna and N Bhujanga Rao.”

He said that they had “hundreds of political leaders’ phones tapped and different parties’ fund-raising monitored” during the Assembly elections. Businessmen were among those whose phones were tapped, according to Praneeth Rao.

He also acknowledged that he used a cutter to destroy the main device and the hard drives holding the spying data. Praneeth Rao claimed to have “broken hard disk devices and thrown them in the Musi river, burned documents in two war rooms.”

According to Bhujanga Rao, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders’ numbers were tapped. According to the remand report, “Praneeth Rao and Tirupatanna received the numbers that [former task force deputy commissioner of police] Radha Kishan Rao provided.”

According to D Ramesh’s complaint, Praneeth Rao exhibited a troubling pattern of behavior from 2018 to 2023 while serving as the Special Intelligence Bureau’s deputy superintendent of police and then as an inspector. This was published by The Hindu.

He claimed that Rao was involved in disassembling and erasing data from up to 42 hard drives and swapping them out for new ones. India vs England Live Score: ENG opt to bat

Ben Stokes: We are gonna have a bat. It’s typical conditions in India, you are not quite sure what you are going to get. We will try to post a big score on the board. The preparation has been really good. We know the challenge that India presents, not only to us but every team that comes here. They are an incredibly successful side. We have got Hartley making his debut, Rehan is playing his second Test, but they have got a great leader in Jack Leach to lead them. I have got full confidence in everyone. We picked a XI that we thought is going to give us the best chance of winning. Woody is that X-factor bowler.

Rohit Sharma: We would have batted as well. Looks dry. Whether we bowl or bat first, we have the skills and we got the guys to do the job for us. Hopefully we can turn out well. A good series, I am playing for the first time – five Test matches. The guys are excited. It’ll be challenging but we are up for it. We have played in these conditions before. We know what to expect and what we need to do, it’s all about executing your skills, backing yourself and being brave enough to take the opportunity. We’ve got three spinners and two seamers – Bumrah, Siraj, Axar, Ashwin and Jadeja. It was a tough one (to leave out Kuldeep Yadav), we thought a lot about it. Axar, whenever he had played, he has done well and bats really well in these conditions. He got some really good score the last time we played against Australia. Probably the reason we went with Axar.
