So, the iQOO Z9 will likely be a much cheaper version and is expected to be priced under Rs 30,000, whereas the Neo 9 Pro could be priced under Rs 40,000. Ahead of the event, iQOO has confirmed the design and a few key features of the Z9 smartphone. Here are the details.
iQOO Z9 5G India launch confirmed, design and key features revealed by company
The teasers of the iQOO Z9 5G have been posted online, providing a glimpse of its appearance. The handset showcases a striking matte green patterned finish, accentuated by a distinct rectangular camera module in black. Within this module, two rear camera sensors are housed in vertically arranged circular cutouts, accompanied by an LED flash unit.
Notably, the camera system seemingly features a premium aspherical lens with support for optical image stabilization (OIS), promising better photography capabilities. The 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor is confirmed with OIS support. In addition to this, iQOO is quite confident about the performance of the new 5G phone.
The iQOO Z9 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, and the company is claiming that it is “the fastest phone in its segment.” iQOO hasn’t revealed the price segment, but we expect it to be priced under Rs 30,000. While exact specifications are yet to be confirmed, previous leaks suggest the presence of a 1.5K OLED display and a massive 6,000mAh battery.
The device could come with 8GB of RAM and run on the latest Android 14-based operating system. Furthermore, the device will likely boast advanced connectivity features, including support for Bluetooth 5.3, as confirmed by a previous Bluetooth SIG listing.
