Isha Ambani, daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, repeated her diamond bracelet and choker at the Met Gala 2024. While she was seen wearing the choker earlier this year at a family friend’s wedding, she had worn the bracelet during the pre-wedding celebrations for her younger brother, Anant Ambani, in March.

The 32-year-old Isha Ambani chose to wear a Rahul Mishra sari with a long flowery train to comply with this year’s “The Garden of Time” Met Gala dress code.

She was styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania for the yearly fashion show.

“By combining elements from Rahul’s previous collections, this look embraces sustainability,” the celebrity stylist and Mishra stated in a statement outlining Ambani’s appearance.

“Viren Bhagat designed the flower choker, parrot earrings, and traditional lotus hand bracelets (Haathpochas),” they stated.

The “clutch crafted by Swadesh using the ancient Indian art forms of Nakashi and miniature painting” was the perfect accessory to go with her attire.

As revealed by the brand, some of the pieces belong to her personal collection and new jewels were also sourced from Gujarat and Rajasthan especially to be stitched on to the garment. The precious ornaments were dismantled and reinvented into couture where each jewel was first placed on hand-drawn paper patterns. After rounds of artistic experimentation, different stitches of gold and silver Zardozi work were infused with the jewellery pieces to create the wearable work of art. The piece was reminiscent of Abu Sandeep’s collection of bejewelled blouses that were featured in their 2012 book, ‘India Fantastique’. You can watch the video below.

The post shows Isha dressed in a Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga encrusted with diamond and pearl embellishments. She wore the ensemble as the final look for the three-day festivities, layering it with a rose-encrusted cape from the shelves of the clothing label Nicole + Felicia. Isha Ambani’s ivory Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga features a diamond and pearl-encrusted cropped blouse. It has a round neckline, jewel-adorned sleeves, a fitted bust, and a tassel-adorned hem. She styled it with a lehenga skirt featuring a high-rise waist, pleated A-line layered ghera, a sheer overlay decked in intricate designs, and a floor-sweeping hem length. She completed the ensemble with a cape featuring hundreds of hand-embroidered roses, exaggerated sleeves, and a train at the back.

Isha styled the ethnic look with diamond and emerald jewels, including a choker necklace, mang tika, dangling earrings, and a statement ring. Isha currently holds the position of Managing Director of Reliance Retail, a conglomerate that encompasses over 45 subsidiaries and divisions, including the popular Jio Stores, Reliance Fresh, JioMart, Hamleys, Urban Ladder, Zivame, and Justdial, among others.

One of the newer ventures under Reliance Retail’s umbrella is Tira Beauty, an omnichannel beauty retailer launched in April 2023. The launch of Tira Beauty was not solely the work of Isha Ambani. Another key figure in this venture is Bhakti Modi, who has a significant connection with the Ambani family.

Bhakti Modi is Isha Ambani’s business partner and the co-founder and Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Tira Beauty. Since September 2021, she has also been instrumental in devising strategy and implementing new business initiatives at Reliance Retail.

In 2022, Bhakti Modi’s role at Reliance Retail expanded further, as she was appointed as a Director at Reliance Brands, a division within Reliance Retail that collaborates with and retails global luxury brands in India. RBL, under Reliance Brands, has introduced 85 international brands to India, including prominent names like Burberry, Balenciaga, Versace, Valentino, Tiffany & Co., Bottega Veneta, and many more.

Bhakti Modi’s professional journey includes nearly seven years of experience within Reliance Retail. Before her current roles, she worked as a category inventory planner and merchandiser at AJIO, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail, for nearly three years. Before that, she served as a fashion buyer at RBL for four years, managing high-profile brands such as Superdry, BCBG Max Azria, and Juicy Couture.

Educationally, Bhakti Modi holds a BA in Consumer Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and an AAS in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Parsons School of Design – The New School in New York.

Aside from their professional collaboration, Isha Ambani and Bhakti Modi share a deep personal bond. Bhakti’s father, Manoj Modi, is a trusted confidant of Mukesh Ambani. It was recently reported that Ambani gifted Modi, his close aide, a luxurious 22-storey building named Vrindavan, valued at Rs 1500 crore, located at Nepean Sea Road near Malabar Hill in Mumbai.

Bhakti Modi is married to Tejas Goenka, who is the Managing Director of Tally Solutions, a leading business management software solution company. In 2016, the Ambanis hosted a lavish celebration at their iconic residence, Antilia, to mark Bhakti and Tejas’ wedding.
