The superstar Amitabh Bachchan was seen cheering on his team, Majhi Mumbai, at the Indian Street Premiere League final on Friday in Mumbai. Son of Amitabh Bachchan, actor Abhishek Bachchan, was also seen supporting Majhi Mumbai against the Tigers of Kolkata.

In a widely circulated video, Amitabh and Abhishek were seen cheering on their team as they watched Tigers of Kolkata play.

Tigers of Kolkata are owned by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Hrithik Roshan owns Bangalore Srtikers, while Amitabh Bachchan owns Majhi Mumbai and Akshay Kumar owns Srinagar Ke Veer. Suriya and Ram Charan own the Chennai Singams and Falcon Risers Hyderabad, respectively.

Earlier in the day, there were reports of Amitabh Bachchan undergoing an angioplasty. The actor reportedly underwent the surgery at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan, a celebrity, attended the Indian Street Premiere League (ISPL) 2024 final match in Mumbai, hours after allegations of his hospitalization made headlines. On social media, a number of Big B videos from the event are currently going viral. Amitabh was seen cheering on Majhi Mumbai vs. Tigers of Kolkata during the championship game.

One of the videos showed Amitabh supporting Majhi Mumbai from the stands alongside his actor-son Abhishek Bachchan. He was seen chatting with Sachin Tendulkar in a different video.

After the match ended, Amitabh was seen leaving the stadium when somebody from the crown asked him about his health. At first, the actor made a gresture from his hand to indicate his is fine. Following this, Big B responded verbally and said, “Fake news”.

Earlier in the day, reports of Amitabh Bachchan being admitted at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai made headlines. Several reports claimed that the 81-year-old Bollywood megastar underwent an angioplasty. However, hospital sources later told News18.com that it was “a routine check-up”.

Amitabh Bachchan, meanwhile, suffered from wrist surgery earlier this year. “The ISPL, as has been promoted and delivered in adverts, is well on its way to fructification and all the owners and the members that are involved, were needed to be in immortalized picture frames,” Amitabh wrote on his blog in January of this year. Thus, yes, a quick in-and-out during the nighttime hours for a photo op with friends and coworkers. It was a lot of fun. I also explained the hand operation to one of the owners, Akshay. Amitabh shot for his forthcoming ventures in spite of his surgeries.

The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) has commenced its operational phase, with the championship matches scheduled for the upcoming few days.

Four of the six clubs that competed for the trophy in the inaugural ISPL season have progressed to the semifinals.

Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane will host the semifinals on Thursday, March 14, and the final on Friday, March 15.

The ISPL 2024 Points Table has had ups and downs for numerous teams. Nevertheless, four teams have advanced to the playoffs despite all the controversy.

Abhishek Kumar Dalhor (Majhi Mumbai): The most expensive signing of the ISPL Season 1 has lived up to his hype. Despite a slow start, Abhishek Kumar Dalhor has carved out his imprint in the league, with 131 runs with the bat and 8 wickets with the ball.

Prathamesh Pawar (Tiigers of Kolkata): The ‘Dada’ of Tennis Ball cricket, Prathamesh Pawar will be crucial for the Kolkata side. He has led his team brilliantly and is the vital cog of that outfit.

Rajesh Sorte (Srinagar Ke Veer): Srinagar pacer Rajesh Sorte has picked up 11 wickets in the tournament so far, the most by any bowler. His ability to pick up wickets and maintain discipline during bowling has been a huge weapon for the team, and Sorte will be key again for them in the knockouts.

Dilip Binjwa (Chennai Singams): Dilip Binjwa has been a terrific bowler for the Singams. He has picked up 10 wickets in the tournament and has been an amazing performer in crunch situations.
