Kate Middleton

Prince Louis, son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, celebrates 6th Birthday.

At six years old, Prince Louis is the younger sibling of Prince George and Princess Charlotte as well as the youngest child of Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales.

The prince was born at 11:01 a.m. local time on April 23, 2018, six years ago. His full name is Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Wales.

Seven hours after his birth, William and Kate brought the infant prince—grandson of King Charles III—outside of London’s St. Mary’s Hospital for his first public appearance.

Since then, Louis has a history of stealing the show at royal gatherings.

When Louis stood animatedly by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 on the Buckingham Palace balcony in honor of her Platinum Jubilee, the nation took notice.

Later on at the jubilee’s Platinum Pageant, Louis’s display of facial expressions, waving and even at times screaming, prompted William and Kate to caption a video montage of the event, “We all had an incredible time, especially Louis…,” followed by an emoji of watchful eyes.

The next year, in 2023, Louis had his turn in the spotlight again at Charles’ coronation, where he was seen dancing, waving, and, at times, yawning.

Louis accomplished a royal first by attending his first royal engagement in early May, right after the coronation.

During the Big Help Out, an event to promote community service, the five-year-old was observed practicing archery and shoveling with Kate. William, George, and Charlotte all assisted in the renovation of a scout troop cabin.

The royal family isn’t celebrating Louis’ birthday this year since two of their relatives are battling cancer.

Kate, Louis’ mother, revealed in March that she had cancer and is receiving chemotherapy.

Just one month earlier, in February, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles was diagnosed with cancer and had begun treatment.

The palace has not specified Charles’ type of cancer, the stage of cancer, or the type of treatment.

Likewise, Kensington Palace has not shared details on the type of cancer Kate was diagnosed with. She said in a video message that the cancer was discovered in post-operative tests after her planned abdominal surgery in mid-January.

Prince William returns to public duties: It hints at Kate Middleton’s good health.

William and Kate: Adding to the strength of the UK Royal Family, Prince William spent Friday morning at Hereford Cathedral to attend Major Mike Sadler’s memorial ceremony. Major Sadler was the last of the SAS “Originals” from the war.

Prince William of the United Kingdom attended a memorial ceremony on Friday after resuming his public duties on Thursday for the first time since Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.

William, bolstering the royal family ranks, went to the funeral of Major Mike Sadler, the final SAS “Original,” on Friday morning at Hereford Cathedral.

Sadler passed away in January of this year at the age of 103. He had used the stars to guide him through North Africa’s deserts.

The Prince of Wales’ most recent action suggests that Kate Middleton, his wife, is doing well.

William’s most recent excursion was revealed by Royal correspondent Richard Palmer in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

William was scheduled to read at the memorial service for the late Greek King Constantine in March, but he had abruptly canceled his trip.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton share a sweet backstage moment at Coachella.

William’s visit was postponed due to Middleton’s cancer diagnosis and preventive chemotherapy, it was later disclosed.

Kate heartbreakingly disclosed to the country last month that she has been diagnosed with cancer and is receiving treatment.

William had gone to a kids club that is served by a surplus food redistribution center on Thursday.

The Princess of Wales had requested “time, space, and privacy” in the video message while she and her family came to terms with her condition.

For the benefit of our small family, I have been doing everything we can to digest and handle this discretely, she had stated. “We have needed time to reassure George, Charlotte, and Louis that everything will be alright and to explain everything to them in a way that is suitable for them.

“Due to health issues, Charles and Kate have been mostly absent from public life since January. As a result, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and other members of the Royal Family have had to fill in for them at the many events and award ceremonies that make up the work of the British monarchy.

Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has been working from home post her abdominal surgery, as she eases back to normal life, Kensington Palace confirmed to The Telegraph. She has been busy with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s (RFCEC) ‘Shaping Us’ project aimed at improving the lives of babies.

The palace said that the Princess of Wales had been kept up to date with her campaign, which has led to “overwhelming results” of the study she inspired. She launched the project in January, with the objective of highlighting the importance of early years’ development in children.

This development came after the staff of a hospital in central London where Kate Middleton had surgery reportedly tried to illegally access her private medical records. The UK’s information watchdog launched an investigation into the alleged incident.

The incident reportedly happened at The London Clinic, a private medical facility, where the 42-year-old Princess of Wales underwent surgery in January. Three workers have reportedly been placed under investigation by the London Clinic.

Kate Middleton’s long absence from public life has been marred by speculation and conspiracy theories. It was fuelled after the palace posted a picture of the princess with her three children, which was later pulled by several media agencies as it was digitally altered. The Princess of Wales later apologised for the confusion over the doctored photo, citing her love for “experimenting” as the reason behind the alteration.

Recently, footage surfaced showing Kate Middleton shopping with her husband, Prince William, at a local farm shop near Windsor. Though many claimed it was the princess’s lookalike, Heidi Agan, she dismissed speculation, telling The Mirror in an interview that she was working as a teacher at a dance and musical theatre group elsewhere.

Kensington Palace has assured the public that the Princess of Wales is recovering from the abdominal surgery, and won’t be resuming royal duties until after the Easter school break.

  • Kensington Palace’s image of Kate Middleton and kids questioned for authenticity
  • Social media users suggested image appears edited or AI-generated
  • Major photo agencies withdraw images citing potential manipulation.

Several major news agencies have withdrawn an image distributed by Kensington Palace, featuring Kate Middleton and her children, amid claims that the photo has been manipulated.

On Sunday, the palace released a photo in celebration of Mother’s Day in the UK, showing the 42-year-old Princess of Wales smiling at the camera while her three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — stood around her. The palace stated that the photo was taken by Prince William, 41, earlier in the week at the family’s residence in Windsor.

However, users on social media questioned the authenticity of the image, with some suggesting that it appeared edited or generated by AI.

In response to these concerns, multiple photo agencies have decided to pull the image released by Kensington Palace.

The Associated Press noted upon closer inspection that “it appears that the source has manipulated the image.” Similarly, AFP withdrew the photo, citing “an editorial issue,” and instructed that it “may no longer be used in any manner” on online platforms.

Reuters picture editors pointed out a discrepancy in the alignment of the sleeve of Kate’s daughter’s cardigan, indicating potential alterations to the image.

This photograph marked the first officially released image of the princess since her abdominal surgery in January. Its release followed weeks of speculation and social media conspiracy theories surrounding her health and whereabouts.

Kensington Palace has yet to issue a statement on the controversy surrounding Kate Middleton’s photo.
