IPL 2024 Orange Cap Holder: Sunil Narine and Phil Salt of the Kolkata Knight Riders soared up the Orange Cap standings following their explosive Sunday performance against the Lucknow Super Giants. They moved up to third and fifth in the table thanks to scores of 81 from Narine and 32 from Salt.

Virat Kohli stormed to the top of the IPL 2024 run scorers chart on Saturday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium with a 27-ball, 42-run performance in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s four-wicket victory over the Gujarat Titans. After his innings, Kohli moved captain Ruturaj Gaikwad of the Chennai Super Kings to second place. Gaikwad had overtaken Virat Kohli to take the top spot on the batting statistics on Wednesday.KL Rahul, the captain of Lucknow, moved up to fourth place after unseating Sai Sudharsan of the Gujarat Titans, who scored six goals against Bengaluru on Saturday.

Last season, current Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the Orange Cap with 890 runs. He was followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Faf du Plessis who scored 730 and Chennai Super Kings Devon Conway with 672. RCB’s Virat Kohli was at number 4 with 639 while Yashasvi Jaiswal came in at 5 with 625.
