Aditi recently talked up about her famous Gajagamini walk in Heeramandi, admitting that she had no idea what it was until Bhansali described it to her. “I’d want to ask my dance teacher, Sanjay sir, what it is. Is it the Gajagamini Walk or the Swan Walk? I am not sure what stroll that is! I’ll say it was something Sanjay sir requested me to do. I followed what Sanjay sir told me. I know there is a Mayur chaal (peacock walk) in Kathak and a Gajagamini (walk of seduction), but I am sure it is in other dance genres, but I am not sure; I should look into it,” she told Zoom.

Aditi Rao Hydari plays Bibbojaan in the film Heeramandi. Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman play major roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. It investigates numerous facets of a woman’s hardships and tribulations.

Previously, in another interview with IANS, Aditi spoke about working with Sanjay and said, “I am very protective of him. I feel he is very precious, and he should just be protected. For me, it’s a huge blessing and a blessing from him… With Bibbojaan and Heeramandi, I felt I have got more time with a person that I respect and love. I got to live a full life. I just got to be around a genius and absorb. And you know one, two, or three times are not enough with directors like Sanjay. Real-time AP EAMCET 2024 Updates: The AP EAPCET 2024 engineering answer key was made available by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. At cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, candidates can get the official question papers and answer keys.

The objection window for the AP EAMCET/EAPCET 2024 Agriculture and Pharmacy is open until May 25. On May 23, the keys were only made available for Agriculture and Pharmacy. Along with the master question papers for every session held between May 18 and 23, the AP EAPCET Engineering preliminary answer key is made available today, May 24, at 10 am.

Bank Holidays this week in May 2024: Due to Buddha Purnima, the Saturday-Sunday weekend leaves, and the Nazrul Jayanti/2024 General Elections, bank customers in all states will need to make plans for a potential four-day holiday this week, from May 23–26.

This month (May 2024), all public banks—including the biggest lender, State Bank of India (SBI)—have at least ten holidays. This covers all non-working Sundays each week as well as the Saturdays off in the second and fourth weeks. Below is the whole list.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the nation’s central bank, sets the holiday schedules for all banks for each year in accordance with the official state government holidays. Nvidia Share Price set to smash expectations with latest earnings announcement?

The first quarter of 2024 ending on April 28, 2024, with $26.0 billion in sales for NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), up 26% from the prior quarter and 18% from the same period the previous year.

GAAP earnings per diluted share for the quarter were $5.98, up 629% from a year ago and up 21% from the prior quarter. $6.12 was the non-GAAP earnings per diluted share, up 19% from the prior quarter and 461% from the same period last year.

Nine extra shares of common stock will be distributed to each record holder of common stock as of Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the end of the market. Outlook
Nvidia Share Price outlook for the second quarter of fiscal 2025 is as follows:

  • Revenue is expected to be $28.0 billion, plus or minus 2%.
  • GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins are expected to be 74.8% and 75.5%, respectively, plus or minus 50 basis points. For the full year, gross margins are expected to be in the mid-70% range.
  • GAAP and non-GAAP operating expenses are expected to be approximately $4.0 billion and $2.8 billion, respectively. Full-year operating expenses are expected to grow in the low-40% range.
  • GAAP and non-GAAP other income and expense are expected to be an income of approximately $300 million, excluding gains and losses from non-affiliated investments.
  • GAAP and non-GAAP tax rates are expected to be 17%, plus or minus 1%, excluding any discrete items.

“Nvidia’s quarterly results on Wednesday could set the tone for U.S. stock markets and reverberate through companies exposed to the burgeoning artificial intelligence field. The semiconductor company at the center of the excitement over AI’s business potential is expected to report a massive jump in revenue and profit for its fiscal first quarter,” says Zacks Research Director, Sheraz Mian.

Nvidia is expected to report robust earnings once again, fueled by its dominance in the AI sector and strong demand for its GPUs.

“Hotly anticipated earnings announcement from semiconductor behemoth Nvidia. The options market is anticipating a sharp move in the bellwether name after the company releases its earnings results, which may embolden equity bulls or awaken the bears from hibernation,” says José Torres, Senior Economist at Interactive Brokers.

However, the road ahead for NVDA stock may not be as fruitful to investors as in the past, is what Nigel Green, CEO, deVere Group feels, “However, the anticipated share price jump, which we expect to be around 8%, is likely to be less dramatic than previous quarters. This tempered expectation reflects a market that has already priced in much of Nvidia’s rapid growth and stellar performance.”

Strides Pharma Reports ₹10.44 Cr in Net Profit for Q4 of FY24

Strides Pharma Reports Total expenses in the fourth quarter were higher at Rs 984.21 crore as compared to Rs 972.26 crore.

Strides Pharma Science Ltd on Wednesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 10.44 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2024.

Financial Highlights

The company, which posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 13.79 crore in the same quarter a year ago, announced a top management rejig with Executive Chairperson & Managing Director Arun Kumar designated as Executive Chairperson while Executive Director Finance & Group CFO Badree Komandur has been elevated as MD and Group CEO.

Consolidated total income in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,070.49 crore as against Rs 1,013.49 crore in the same period a year ago, Strides Pharma Science said in a regulatory filing.

Total expenses in the fourth quarter were higher at Rs 984.21 crore as compared to Rs 972.26 crore.

The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2024, the filing said.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, the consolidated net loss was at Rs 94.31 crore as against Rs 212.33 crore in the previous fiscal.

In FY24, consolidated total income was at Rs 4,090.82 crore over Rs 3,778.71 crore in FY23.

Strides Pharma said it recorded its highest-ever full-year revenue in FY24 driven by growth in the US and other regulated markets.

“The US remains a key market for Strides, having achieved the higher end of the FY24 revenue outlook of USD 250 million, we are well poised to achieve the USD 400 million objective over the next 3 years,” the company said in an investor presentation.

In other regulated markets, FY24 revenue was at USD 154 million, growing by 19.9 per cent year-on-year.

Strides said as part of the top management changes, Aditya Kumar currently Vice President of B2B Business will now be Executive Director – Business Development; Vikesh Kumar CFO – Front End Markets will become Group CFO & Chief Investor Relations Officer; and Surabhi Loshali, Senior Vice President HR has been elevated as Group CHRO.

The AAP claimed that the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were preparing an attack on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

A 32-year-old man has been taken into custody by the Delhi Police on suspicion of threatening Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with graffiti at a metro station.

The police said that on Monday, they found threats scribbled on the walls of Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar Metro stations, and an FIR was registered in the case. The accused, Ankit Goyal, has been arrested from Bareilly and is being interrogated.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, alleging they were plotting to attack chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh claimed  that the alleged conspiracy to target Kejriwal originated from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The BJP has been in a frenzy since Arvind Kejriwal’s release from prison. Right now, the BJP is preparing to strike Arvind Kejriwal with deadly intent. The prime minister’s office is the direct source of this plot. At the Metro stations in Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar, there is a danger of violence against Kejriwal ji, according to Sanjay Singh.

An 11-year-old Deaf-Mute girl in Rajasthan Dies After Being Set on Fire.

Rajasthan: On social media, the police have vowed to solve the case and issued a warning against spreading unsubstantiated claims.

A deaf-mute 11-year-old girl from Karauli, Rajasthan, passed away ten days after she was discovered with severe burns in a field close to her home. At Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh Hospital, the tribal girl passed away. Despite the lack of arrests thus far, the family has called for prompt police intervention. They claimed that when they discovered the girl, she was naked.

On social media, the police have vowed to solve the case and issued a warning against spreading unsubstantiated rumours. According to authorities, a forensic investigation is underway and the truth will soon be known.

The girl’s mother heard her scream as she was playing outside her home, according to the FIR. She saw her daughter in a barn roughly 100 metres away as she was running out. According to the FIR, the girl was crying in agony, had burns, and was undressed. The child seemed to be indicating with gestures that two people lit her on fire and ran away. After being hurried to the closest government hospital, she was sent to Jaipur.

On May 14, a specialist was consulted in order to document the girl’s account. She identified one of the people in the pictures that were given to her.

Heart-rending visuals show the heavily-bandaged girl on the hospital bed, talking to her mother in sign language, days before her death.

Police have said samples of the girl’s skin and clothes have been sent to the forensic lab and the probe will proceed as per the advice of scientific experts. “Keeping in mind the sensitivity of this incident, it will not be correct to publicly say anything without evidence,” they said in a post on X.

9 Light Pillar Appear in Night Sky Above Coastal Japanese Town.

On May 11, 2024, Light pillar an unearthly occurrence was observed above a town in the Tottori prefecture of Japan.

An amazing image of what looks to be nine light pillars emerging in the night sky over the seaside town of Daisen was shared by user Maashii on X (previously Twitter):

According to his X biography, Maashii works in Daisen as a “tourism producer”. He told Hint-pot, which reported on the story on May 14, that the lights could be seen in the direction of the Sea of Japan.

Maashii also told Hint-pot that he has only seen these lights three or four times since he moved to Daisen from Tokyo nine years ago. When he spotted them, he quickly pulled out his smartphone to snap a picture.

Another X user by the name of totoro8201 claims to have spotted the same lights from Nariishi beach, located on the same stretch of coastline just 12.7km east of Daisen, according to Google Maps.

Fish-attracting light pillars

Maashii told Hint-pot that this phenomenon is known in Japan as “Isaribi Kochu”.

According to Japan Today, “Isaribi Kochu” literally means “fish-attracting light pillars”. The article was reporting on a similar “Light pillar of light” sighting back in 2015.

Japan Today explained that “Isaribi”, literally “fishing fires”, refers to the lights that are placed on fishing boats to attract larger catches. The practice is fairly common in squid fishing.

As temperatures cool overnight, crystals sometimes form in the air above the lit-up fishing boats. If the conditions are just right for the formation of large crystals without any precipitation, the beams can form as light from the boats reflects off the crystals.
