“Bomb Blast @30 Minutes” Message In Plane Toilet, Fliers Exit Via Slide

Indigo Flight Bomb Threat: The IndiGo flight, which was set to fly from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport around 5 a.m., was stopped on the runway minutes before takeoff.

On Tuesday, police evacuated and searched the Varanasi-bound IndiGo aeroplane at the Delhi airport after receiving a hoax bomb blast warning, according to officials.
The flight, 6E2211, with 176 passengers on board, was scheduled to depart from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport around 5 a.m., but was stopped on the runway minutes before takeoff after the pilot discovered a tissue paper with the message “bomb blast @30 minutes” written on it in the aircraft’s washroom.

“At 05:40 a.m., a phone call was received from the IGI airport reporting a bomb threat. The captain discovered a piece of paper inside the flight’s restroom with the message ‘BOMB BLAST @30 MINUTES’, according to a Delhi Fire Services spokesman.

The aircraft was promptly brought to the isolation bay for further action, according to the official, who also stated that a quick response team was dispatched and discovered no suspicious goods.

The official stated that all passengers deboarded using the emergency door and are safe.

The IndiGo also released an official statement and said that an alternate aircraft was arranged for passengers from Delhi to Varanasi.

“The passengers were provided with refreshments and were boarded. The flight departed for Varanasi at 11:10 am. We regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers,” the airline said.

Earlier this month, a tissue paper with the word ‘bomb’ written on it was also found on an Air India flight lavatory at Delhi airport, but it had turned out to be a hoax.

Police had said that they received information regarding a tissue paper found in the lavatory of an Air India flight scheduled to depart for Vadodara on May 15, with the word ‘bomb’ written on it.

“Following standard security protocols, a thorough inspection was conducted, and no suspicious items were found,” an official had said.

Several hospitals and schools in Delhi have recently been targeted with bomb threat emails, that claimed the presence of explosives on their premises. However, investigators found the threats to be false alarms.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, The Dera Chief, was Cleared in the 2002 Murder Case.

In 2021, a CBI court convicted Ram Rahim Singh of the murder case and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court today acquitted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim of the murder of a former Dera officer. Ranjit Singh, a member of the Dera’s state committee, was killed in 2002. It is said that the murder was motivated by his suspected involvement in the distribution of an anonymous letter detailing Ram Rahim’s sexual exploitation of women at the Dera headquarters in Sirsa, Haryana.

In 2021, a CBI court convicted Ram Rahim and four others of murder and sentenced them to life in prison. The special court ruled that it was shown beyond a reasonable doubt that the Dera chief was enraged by the letter’s publication and conspired with the other suspects to murder Ranjit Singh. Dera’s 56-year-old chief had disputed the conviction in the high court. The four others convicted by the CBI court were also acquitted today.

The notorious Dera chief is in jail after being convicted of raping two sadhvis at the dera and murdering journalist Ram Chander Prajapati, who had extensively written on the Dera chief’s sexual assault charges.

The Dera Sacha Sauda made headlines when horrifying sexual assault allegations against Gurmeet Ram Rahim surfaced, prompting the CBI to launch an investigation. The Dera leader claimed to be impotent in 2014, a decade after the investigation began, but the court disregarded his allegation. His 2017 conviction provoked widespread riots and arson. Thirty people killed, more than 250 were injured, and the Army was called in to help contain the situation. Ram Rahim is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence and has filed a high court appeal against his conviction.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s lawyers today welcomed the high court’s decision and stated that the Dera chief has entire faith in the justice.

Pune Porsche Crash Case: Teen’s Blood Sample was Thrown in Dustbin, 2 Doctors Arrested

Pune Porsche Crash Case: According to Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, two doctors at the government-run Sassoon Hospital colluded to throw the 17-year-old’s blood sample into a dumpster and switch it with another person’s.

  • Police report that a teen’s blood sample was thrown away and replaced with another person’s.
  • The doctor admits that he followed the forensics head’s instructions and switched the samples.
  • DNA tests verified that the blood samples came from two separate individuals.

The head of the forensics department at Sassoon Hospital in Pune, where the teen accused in the fatal Porsche car crash was taken for a medical check-up, and another doctor from the hospital were arrested on Monday for allegedly tampering with evidence, according to Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar.

The arrests were made after it was determined that the blood samples of the juvenile involved in the accident had been replaced with those of another person who had not taken alcohol. Police stated the teen’s first blood sample was discarded in a dumpster.

The minor was transferred to Sassoon Hospital for a medical examination around 11 a.m. on the day of the mishap, May 19. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) analysis revealed no alcohol in the first sample, raising suspicions.

A second blood test was performed at a separate hospital, and DNA tests proved that the samples were from two distinct people, leading authorities to believe that the doctors at the government hospital interfered with the evidence to protect the accused youngster.

“Dr. Shrihari Halnor, who took the juvenile’s blood sample, was arrested last night.” During interrogation, he disclosed that he had changed the blood sample per the instructions of Dr. Ajay Taware, the HOD of Forensic Medicine,” said Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar at a press conference.

Following the arrest of the two doctors, charges of criminal conspiracy, forgery, and destruction of evidence were added in the accident case, he added.

Kumar stated that there was no alcohol found in the second blood sample taken from the minor. “But our case is under section 304, culpable homicide not amounting to murder. The accused juvenile was in full knowledge that his act could endanger lives, so no alcohol traces in his blood sample does not affect our case anyway,” he said.

The Pune Crime Branch on Monday took the minor’s father, Vishal Agarwal, into custody after the court allowed it. New charges under sections of forgery, criminal conspiracy, and destruction of evidence were also added against the father following the arrest of the doctors.

Agarwal is in judicial custody and lodged in the central jail. The court allowed the police to take custody of him in connection with the case of kidnapping and wrongful confinement of his driver.

PUNE CRASH CASE IN A NUTSHELL

The Pune Porsche crash case has been marred by controversy since the beginning, with allegations of preferential treatment and underworld connections surrounding the accused’s family. The minor, who was allegedly driving the Porsche under the influence of alcohol, was initially granted bail but was later remanded to an observation home until June 5 following public outcry.

His father, real estate developer Vishal Agrawal, and grandfather have also been arrested in connection with the case, with allegations of attempting to bribe and threaten the family’s driver to take blame for the accident.

Modi, Shah, and Fadnavis collaborated to Defeat Gadkari in Nagpur, According to Sanjay Raut.

Maharashtra BJP leaders believe Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut’s Nitin Gadkari charges have gone beyond civility.

Sanjay Raut, leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), has claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attempted to defeat Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in the Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency during the elections.

“Gadkari yancha Nagpurat parabhav vhava yasathi Modi, Shah, Fadnavis ekatra ale, prayatna kele (To ensure Gadkari’s defeat in Nagpur, Modi, Shah and Fadnavis came together and made attempts),” the MP wrote in his weekly column in the Sena newspaper, Saamna.

Raut went on to write that Fadnavis only campaigned for Gadkari when it became clear that the Union Minister would not be defeated.
“Parabhav hoot nahi yachi khatri patlyawar Fadnavis, hey nailajani Nagpurat pracharala utarle.” (When it became clear Gadkari would not be beaten, Fadnavis had no choice except to advocate for him)”.

Raut, the executive editor of Saamna, also said in his column that “if Amit Shah gets power again, he will finish Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath”. In Uttar Pradesh, the campaign, he stated, “Yogi ko bachana hain tau Modi ko jana hain (If you have to save Yogi Adityanath, Modi has to go)”.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader’s statements sparked a heated reaction from the state BJP, which dismissed them as ludicrous.

Senior BJP minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said, “Sanjay Raut has this habit of making sensational statements. But this time he has made ridiculous allegations that are not only false but utter nonsense.”

State BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, “Sanjay Raut is known for making statements which are never based on facts. This time he has crossed all the limits of decency by making wild and baseless allegations.”

“The SPs have been asked to take adequate measures,” Aftab told news agency PTI.

According to sources in the state disaster management department, all necessary measures are in place and additional personnel have been sent to coastal districts.

Delhi Metro Graffiti: Man arrested for Threatening CM Arvind Kejriwal.

The AAP claimed that the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were preparing an attack on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

A 32-year-old man has been taken into custody by the Delhi Police on suspicion of threatening Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with graffiti at a metro station.

The police said that on Monday, they found threats scribbled on the walls of Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar Metro stations, and an FIR was registered in the case. The accused, Ankit Goyal, has been arrested from Bareilly and is being interrogated.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, alleging they were plotting to attack chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh claimed  that the alleged conspiracy to target Kejriwal originated from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The BJP has been in a frenzy since Arvind Kejriwal’s release from prison. Right now, the BJP is preparing to strike Arvind Kejriwal with deadly intent. The prime minister’s office is the direct source of this plot. At the Metro stations in Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar, there is a danger of violence against Kejriwal ji, according to Sanjay Singh.

Despite the fact that these stations have security guards and CCTV cameras, Atishi, another senior leader, claimed that pictures of the menacing graffiti have been making the rounds on social media, raising concerns about the police and Cyber Cell’s lack of response.

“The images of the graffiti have also been uploaded on social media. These stations are under CCTVs and security personnel are posted round-the-clock. Why are the police not acting on it? Where is the Cyber Cell? This shows that this is being orchestrated by the BJP,” Atishi had alleged.

On this special occasion, Manisha was pleasantly surprised to learn that most of the people present at the PM’s house had watched her latest web series, ‘Heeramandi’.

Manisha posted pictures of herself with PM Sunak from the meeting. She looked gorgeous in a black, silk saree. Along with the photos, the actor wrote, “It was an honour to be invited to 10 Downing Street to celebrate United Kingdom – Nepal relations and 100 years of our friendship treaty. Elections to the Lok Sabha in 2024: Prashant Kishor Highlights, “If BJP Wins, But Less Than 370, Market May…

The BJP’s goal of 370 seats, according to Prashant Kishor, is a “smart” strategy that has helped them alter the conversation surrounding the election.

Political strategist Prashant Kishor believes that had the opposition not blown many opportunities to come back while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was in the minority, it would have been in a stronger position going into the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024.

Kishor stated that the BJP’s repeated defeats in state assembly elections in 2015 and 2016 was the first instance of this kind of thing.

“The Aam Aadmi Party won the Delhi assembly elections in January 2015.” That following November, the BJP was defeated in the Bihar elections. Assembly elections were held in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam the next year till May. Only Assam would be won by the BJP, and only then in coalition. Since PM Modi’s popularity had only started to climb (post-2014), those 15–18 months presented a chance for the Congress-led opposition to mount a comeback,” Kishor said in an interview with NDTV.

Also Read India and China Relations: Back to Basics.

Another opportunity that the opposition had, according to Kishor, was after 2016 demonetisation of ₹500 and ₹1,000 banknotes by the PM Modi-led government.

“There was a kind of turbulence in the country. You can call it economic or rural distress. The BJP won the UP assembly elections in 2017 but if you remember there was protest by Patels ahead of Gujarat elections. There were protests in Maharashtra too,” Kishor said.

That was not a good time for the BJP and PM Modi, he said. “In November 2017 Gujarat polls, the Congress, though lost, but performed well. The BJP could somehow manage to win by 15 odd seats. In the coming months, the BJP lost Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh elections. So this was another 15-17 month period from mid 2017 till end of 2018 when the BJP was on the back foot but the opposition missed the chance,” Kishor said.

Kishor said the opposition missed another opportunity in June 2021 post second Covid-19 wave when there was a dip in the Prime Minister’s approval ratings. The BJP had just lost the West Bengal state elections, then, he said.

“The last chance for the opposition was when many parties came together and former INDIA bloc in June 2023. And there was a murmur across the country that at least, we have a challenge coming up against the BJP which could have ended with 220-240 seats in 2024 elections. But for months there was no movement forward,” Kishor told NDTV.

Also Read Sambit Patra ‘Slip of Tongue’ on Lord Jagannath by BJP causes Controversy, says PM Modi.

Kishor has predicted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP will return to power in Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

And I am told that the Congress predicted victory in five assembly elections in November-December 2023, which it didn’t. They though INDIA bloc would start the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from a position of strength. And in this thought they lost the crucial 4-5 months while the BJP had already started campaigning under PM Modi. In fact, for two months after the Ram Mandir event, the opposition had almost given up. And by the time they woke up in February, it was too late,” he said.

With voting in 49 seats being held in the phase 5 on May 20, the election to 428 of the 543 seats is over. The remaining two phases will be held on May 25 and June 1. Counting votes for all seven Lok Sabha Elections phases will occur on June 4.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), seeking a record third term under PM Narendra Modi, has set a target of winning 400 seats this election. The ruling alliance is challenged by the opposition parties led by the Congress under the banner of the INDIA bloc.
