Aditi recently talked up about her famous Gajagamini walk in Heeramandi, admitting that she had no idea what it was until Bhansali described it to her. “I’d want to ask my dance teacher, Sanjay sir, what it is. Is it the Gajagamini Walk or the Swan Walk? I am not sure what stroll that is! I’ll say it was something Sanjay sir requested me to do. I followed what Sanjay sir told me. I know there is a Mayur chaal (peacock walk) in Kathak and a Gajagamini (walk of seduction), but I am sure it is in other dance genres, but I am not sure; I should look into it,” she told Zoom.

Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman play major roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. What happens in Bridgerton season 3?

Well, first of all, in case you haven’t noticed, season 3 will focus on Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington who, after years of being friends, finally inch closer and closer to a full blown, very spicy romance of their own.

The official synopsis of teases that Penelope has decided that it’s time to take a husband, after giving up on her long-held crush on Colin after hearing his negative words about her. However, Pen’s lack of confidence means she struggles to make a match.

Colin has returned from his summer travels, looking every inch the leading man, but is “disheartened” when he realises Pen is now giving him the cold shoulder.

“Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly,” the synopsis reads.

Elsewhere, teaser clips have hinted that Francesca’s debut will play a big part in season 3, Benedict finds himself with a new woman, and Anthony and Kate are still enjoying their honeymoon phase. Oh, and Eloise and Penelope’s friendship is still in the pits.

As for what else happens? We’ll have to tune in on May 16th to find out!

Her father is currently the chief of content at the prestigious production company Applause Entertainment. Her mother is a film editor who has directed her first feature film, Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi, in 2012 in addition to contributing to other Bhansali films, including Khamoshi, Devdas, and Black. The Great Indian Kapil Show has aired four episodes so far on Netflix, but viewership doesn’t seem to be increasing at an expected rate.

Based on Netflix’s own data, The Great Indian Kapil Show’s viewership is declining after four episodes and one month. With the long-awaited return of presenter Kapil Sharma and colleague Sunil Grover serving as the hook, the show was heavily marketed for several months in an effort to grow the streamer’s fan base in India. However, viewership seems to be plummeting following a lavish debut and a guest list that has so far featured celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Diljit Dosanjh, Rohit Sharma, and Ranbir Kapoor.

The first episode, which starred Ranbir, his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and mother Neetu Kapoor, drew 2.4 million viewer hours, according to Netflix’s regularly updated Global Top 10 list. The episode received 2.5 million views in total and concluded the week at number three. With the publication of an additional episode, the show’s total number of viewer hours by the conclusion of the second week was 4.6 million. However, there were 2.6 million views overall. Even though there were 200,000 additional viewers, there are now two episodes available. In the second week, the show dropped to number five. While total viewership hours may vary because not every audience member is watching an episode through to the end, total views indicate the number of people who have watched an episode up until the moment that Netflix deems a single “view.”

The Great Indian Kapil Show dropped to number seven in the rankings after the conclusion of the third week. For the week, there were 4.1 million total hours of viewing and 1.7 million total views. Remember that viewers now have three episodes to choose from. By the conclusion of its first month, the show had only 1.2 million total views and had dropped to the eighth rank with 3.9 million total weekly viewer hours. Again, compared to the 57 minutes of video provided in week one, viewers now have access to over three hours of content in total.

Kapil has already worked on other Netflix projects. He made his stage debut in Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet, a stand-up special, in 2022. Over its one-hour run, the program was unable to get into the global top 10. In contrast, the first season of Maamla Legal Hai had 1.1 million total views and 4.8 million hours of viewing when it began. In the second week, it gained one position and received 2 million views in addition to 8.5 million viewer hours.

Netflix’s crackdown on password sharing has helped it gain more paid users as the streaming giant added more than 13.1 million subscriptions in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023 that ended on December 31. Netflix is a key rival of Mukesh Ambani’s JioCinema in India.

The company said in its quarterly earnings that price increases in the US, UK and France went better than it had anticipated.

“We largely put price increases on hold as we rolled out paid sharing. Now that we’re through that, we’re able to resume our standard approach,” Netflix co-chief executive Greg Peters said during a call with analysts.

Peters said the company will continue to monitor other countries and try and assess “when we’ve delivered enough additional entertainment value”.

“We look at engagement, retention, acquisition as the signals there so that we can go back to members and ask them to pay a bit more to keep that positive flywheel going and we can invest in more great films, series, and games for those members,” he said.

“The summary statement might be back to business as usual”.

The company exited 2023 with 12 per cent revenue growth, up from 6 per cent in 2022, and increased free cash flow to $6.9 billion.

Paid net additions reached 13.1 million in Q4 2023 as compared to 7.7 million in Q4 2022 — the company’s largest Q4 ever. In Q4 2023, operating income amounted to $1.5 billion, up from $0.5 billion in the year ago period.

“For 2023, we generated $7 billion of operating income, up 23 per cent year over year,” said Netflix.
