Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to skip western UP!

The yatra was earlier scheduled to remain in Uttar Pradesh from February 16 to February 26 before entering Rajasthan.

Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has decided to cut short his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh by skipping western part of the state and saving five days, a party leader said on Monday while citing board exams.

The decision follows indications that Samajwadi Party ally and Jayant Singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) may join hands with the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

Uttar Pradesh Congress spokesperson Anshu Awasthi said the duration of the yatra in UP is being reduced in view of the state board examinations for Classes 10 and 12.

The yatra was earlier scheduled to remain in Uttar Pradesh from February 16 to February 26 before entering Rajasthan. However, it will now end on February 21 and enter Madhya Pradesh by skipping western UP.

“Setting an example of sensitivity, Rahul Gandhi ji has given public interest a priority on many occasions. Keeping in mind the UP Board examinations starting from February 22, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will remain in Uttar Pradesh from February 16 to February 21,” Awasthi said in a statement issued here.

“Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had cancelled his rallies in Bengal out of concern for the people during the COVID-19 period,” the spokesperson said.

Elaborating on the schedule of the yatra in UP, Awasthi said it will enter the state through Varanasi on February 16, and then reach Amethi on February 19 via Bhadohi, Prayagraj and Pratapgarh.

On February 19, Gandhi will address a public meeting in Gauriganj in Amethi Lok Sabha constituency and the yatra will reach Rae Bareli the next day from where it will proceed for Lucknow. The participants of the march, including Gandhi, are likely to make a night halt there, he said.

The spokesperson said the yatra will reach Unnao from Lucknow on February 21. It will enter Kanpur via Unnao city and Shuklaganj. Subsequently, it will reach Jhansi via Kanpur and Hamirpur, after which it would enter Madhya Pradesh the same day.

Denying that the recent and sudden shift of the RLD (a part of INDIA bloc) towards the BJP has prompted the party to go back to the drawing board and leave the western UP region, Awasthi said, “The change in the itinerary of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is only in view of the UP Board examination.”

According to the website of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, the hybrid bus and foot march was earlier scheduled to reach Bareilly from Lucknow. It would have then gone to Aligarh and Agra before entering Rajasthan.

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Asked when Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will be joining the yatra, Awasthi told PTI, “SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is likely to join the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Rae Bareli district on February 20 and take part in a road show.

Yadav on February 6 received an invitation to join the yatra. Yadav had said he will join the yatra either in Amethi or in Raebareli.

“Akhilesh Yadav has received an invitation of (Congress president) Mallikarjun Kharge to join Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which enters UP on February 16. Yadav has given consent to join the yatra either in Amethi or Raebareli,” the SP said in a statement.

Yadav said he expected that the yatra would join the ‘PDA’ strategy of the SP while entering the state and take forward its agitation for “social justice and mutual harmony”.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister’s jab at Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Nitish Kumar, “Born with golden spoon!

“Rahul Gandhi will never be able to understand the conditions of this place because he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth,” Bihar Deputy CM Sinha said!

After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi mocked Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar for rejoining the NDA on Tuesday, deputy CM Vijay Sinha came out in defence of the CM. Sinha said that Rahul Gandhi ‘was born with a golden spoon in his mouth’ and that ‘he would never understand the pain of the public.’ “Those who spend time on the ground understand the situation,” Sinha said.

Addressing reporters in Patna, Sinha said, “Rahul Gandhi will never be able to understand the social and geographical conditions of this place because he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth. Those who spend time on the ground understand the situation. Dynastic families with criminal and corrupt mindsets can never understand the pain of the public.”

Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday slammed Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar for “taking a U-turn each time little pressure is exerted” by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Addressing the public in Bihar’s Purnea Rahul said,” Right now Baghel ji (former Chhattisgarh CM) told me a joke. The joke goes like this…Your chief minister took oath at Governor’s house. Some of his ministers also took oath. Celebrations were going on. Nitish Kumar decided to go back to his home. Suddenly while going back he realised he has left his shawl at the Governor’s house. He went back and met the Governor. Governor was shocked and said you came back so quick this time.”

So this is the condition of Bihar a little pressure is exerted, and he (Nitish Kumar) makes a U-turn,” Gandhi said. Taking a dig at the Congress leader Bihar deputy chief minister Samrat Chaudhary said that it is “Rahul Gandhi who is solely responsible for the current condition of Lalu Prasad Yadav.”

On Sunday, Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the chief minister of Bihar for the ninth occasion at Raj Bhawan in Patna, marking another shift in alliances as he joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance once again. It was for the second time in two years that Nitish Kumar switched political affiliations, marking his fifth crossover in just over a decade.

“Dive into the political heat as Rahul Gandhi faces potential charges for ‘provoking crowd’ as per Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s directive. Stay informed on this unfolding legal and political drama with insights into the implications and reactions surrounding the controversial situation.”

This comes after clashes broke out between Congress workers and Assam police after the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra was stopped from entering Guwahati.

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday asked state police to file a case against Rahul Gandhi for ‘provoking crowd’ amid Congress workers were stopped from entering Guwahati during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

Nearly 5,000 Congress workers, along with Rahul Gandhi, trying to enter Guwahati on Tuesday were intercepted after the party restarted its flagship ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Assam today. Following this, party workers clashed with police officials and broke police barriers. Cops resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd.

Addressing a gathering close to the Guwahati border, Rahul Gandhi said his party workers would never break the rules and disrupt law and order; however, “this doesn’t mean that we are weak”.

“Assam CM, the Union Home Minister and the PM can break the rules, but we (Congress) would never do such a thing. However, this doesn’t mean that we are weak. Congress workers are ‘Babbar Sher’,” he said, standing atop a bus.

Before leaving for Guwahati, the former Congress chief alleged that Union home minister Amit Shah instructed the Assam CM to stop him from meeting students, which was scheduled for today.

Congress claims that the Manipur government “declined” to allow Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Imphal!

The ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ was scheduled to begin on January 14 from Hatta Kangjeibung in the Imphal East district in Manipur!

Congress claimed on Wednesday that the Manipur government has “declined” to give permission to Rahul Gandhi to commence his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ from Imphal East district. The ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ was scheduled to begin on January 14 from Hatta Kangjeibung in the Imphal East district in Manipur. Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president Keisham Megachandra said the decision was “unfortunate” and “violation of people’s rights”, according to PTI.

“We met Chief Minister N Biren Singh and sought permission for the venue of ‘Bharat Joro Nyay Yatra’ at Hatta Kangjeibung in Imphal East district from where the rally is scheduled to be flagged off. However, the chief minister has declined to permit the same,” Keisham Megachandra said.

A “critial” law and order situation has prevailed in Manipur ever since ethnic violence broke out in the state in May 2023. The second leg of Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is set to begin on January.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh had said on Tuesday that the matter is under “active consideration” and a decision will be taken on it after receiving reports from security agencies. Addressing the reporters on the sidelines of an event, Biren Singh said the law and order situation in Manipur is “very critical”.

Perspective: A Depressing Impact On The Toolkit Nexus!

“Exploring the Gloomy Fallout: The Toolkit Nexus and Its Depressing Impact”

The Hindenburg and OCCRP reports against the Adani group were used as political ammo against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, regulatory bodies like SEBI, and one of the biggest economic conglomerates in India during the past year.

Since January 24 of last year, when Hindenburg published its report, the entire toolkit ecosystem—which includes so-called investigative institutions based abroad, NGOs, aligned media outlets domestic and overseas, Left-liberal groups of all hues, and sections of political parties in opposition, most notably the Congress—has been in hyperactive mode.

The opposition, led by the Congress party, compelled a washout of the parliamentary Budget session. There were fictitious allegations and claims made, along with unrealistic demands. Discussions over President Droupadi Murmu’s speech to the joint session of legislature. That was also the first time President Murmu addressed the legislature, and lawmakers are free to express any opinions they may have during these debates.

Because of this, the country witnessed a new form of rivalry among leaders, with the aim of seeing who could disparage or abuse business magnate Gautam Adani, his group, and his alleged closeness to Prime Minister Modi merely by virtue of their Gujarati origins. For those apprehended breaking the law, it served as a handy justification for their immoral, unethical, and unlawful acts of commission and omission.

After two previous failures, the Rafale and Pegasus debates, it was evident that they had not learned their lesson.

In addition to demolishing the Hindenburg and OCCRP reports and their backers like a renegade George Soros, the Supreme Court’s clean bill of rights to the Adani group, placing its faith in the market regulator and the Indian regulatory apparatus, has also dulled the leadership of Congress and the party’s supporters. The Supreme Court essentially indicted activist attorney Prashant Bhushan on multiple counts during the case’s most recent hearing.

Nonetheless, the ruling by the Supreme Court cheers not only the Adani Group but also millions of small investors nationwide, in addition to institutional investors, public sector banks, and other organizations.

The one definitive finding from the year-long, politically charged exercise in dust-raising is straightforward: Hindenburg, which initially leveled accusations in a lengthy study, made a significant profit by short selling both before and after the report’s publication, and it freely acknowledged this.

The incident reveals the relationship between India baiters and those who despise the Modi regime. Above all, it exposes a wide range of people, including Rahul Gandhi, Mahua Moitra, Jairam Ramesh, and many more. They are now without a problem following the Supreme Court’s decision.

The Congress will suffer the most from it, and the opposition I.N.D.I. will become even more divided.a collection. Openly disparaging Hindenburg, Sharad Pawar supported the Adani Group. Leaders of the Trinamool Congress and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Ashok Gehlot, the former chief minister of Rajasthan, Pinarayi Vijayan, the head of the CPM, and the Janata Dal (United) had also adopted a lenient stance towards Adani.

Inadvertently portraying himself as anti-industry and anti-entrepreneurship, Rahul Gandhi is well-known for telling party leaders and workers stories—his own versions of how McDonald’s and Coca-Cola rose to prominence. It’s definitely not a healthy image. for the opposing parties and the Congress.

If Rahul Gandhi and others want to continue making wild accusations, they would be better off reading the 46-page Supreme Court ruling before pursuing this further. Take note of what Chief Justice DY Chandrachud’s bench stated in the ruling: Based on the evidence presented to this court, SEBI cannot be blamed for any apparent regulatory shortcomings.

The court must not supersede SEBI’s regulatory regulations with its own judgment. When evaluating a policy created by a specialized regulator, the court has the authority to investigate whether it infringes upon any statutory provisions, fundamental rights, or is obviously arbitrary. This case’s facts do not support a transfer.

of a SEBI investigation. This Court does have the authority to assign a case to a SIT or CBI in which the investigation being conducted by the authorized agency is deemed appropriate. Such authority is used in exceptional situations where the responsible authority exhibits a conspicuous, willful, and intentional lack of action in conducting the investigation. There is no evidence to support the existence of a threshold for the transfer of investigation.

The petitioner’s reliance on the OCCPR findings to imply that SEBI conducted the investigation in a careless manner is denied. A report from a third-party entity that makes no effort to confirm the veracity of its claims cannot be used as definitive evidence. Furthermore, it is incorrect for the petitioner to rely on the DRI letter because Concurrent rulings from the CESTAT, this Court, and the Additional Director General of DRI have already resolved the matter.
