Movie fans have posted amusing Pushpa memes on X (Twitter), including everyone from Shiva Rajkumar, Trisha, and Raghu Babu to Ravi Teja and Fahadh Faasil.
The first track from Pushpa 2: The Rule will be out on May 1, the movie’s producers revealed on Wednesday. However, they had no idea that the 20-second version of the Devi Sri Prasad song they had uploaded would spark a ton of memes, some of which weren’t very positive.

The vocalist sings Pushpa, Pushpa, Pushpa Raj in a modulated voice in the little video that the makers have uploaded. Midway through, a chorus joins in. On May 1, at 11.07 AM, the first song will be published; however, movie enthusiasts and fans aren’t inclined to wait till then.
A user on X (previously Twitter) posted a phrase from Touch Chesi Chudu by Ravi Teja, in which he quips sarcastically, “What do you mean Pushpa, Pushpa, Pushpa? Go hawk peanuts on the shore.
An further user shared a video of Raghu Babu from the 2005 movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, which shows Trisha being made fun of on a train, along with the audio from the announcement. A 2023 Kannada movie called Vedha features a song called Pushpa Pushpa, which was shared by a fan.
But there were also memes with fans rejoicing over the number’s release. One played the announcement song over a video of Mahesh Babu dancing to Guntur Kaaram’s Mawaa Enthaina. Another cleared a nice movie with footage of Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil from Pushpa: The Rise.

Sukumar is the director of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which stars Allu, Rashmika, and Fahadh in the respective roles of Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. The movie is a follow-up to Pushpa: The Rise, released in 2021. August 15 of this year is when the film is supposed to be released. On Allu’s birthday, the producers unveiled a special teaser featuring him dressed as a jatara.
