In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent statement that “corrupt will go to jail,” Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh on Thursday mocked the BJP-led Central government, claiming that the latter’s cabinet would have a “lovely reunion in Tihar jail” following the Lok Sabha elections.

“The Prime Minister has promised that the dishonest will face justice. The opposition came together to oppose Prime Minister Modi after he declared on Thursday that tough measures were being taken against corruption nationwide.
