The murder of Kharar graphic designer: According to Kharar police, the two accused were living together in a leased home in Maloya; the other three accused, including a woman named Sonia, are being sought by police. Five persons, including a woman, murdered a 35-year-old graphic designer by stabbing him in the neck and abdomen following a verbal spat near Nijjer Chowk in Kharar last Friday midnight.

The second suspect in the horrific April 19 murder of a 35-year-old graphic designer in Kharar near Nijjer Chowk was taken into custody by Kharar police on Tuesday.

According to authorities, the two were sharing a leased apartment in Maloya. An ongoing quest is underway for the remaining three fugitives, among them a woman by the name of Sonia.

To settle a financial dispute, Tajinder Sharma, also known as Teji, the victim, had called the accused close to Nijjer Chowk.

While the two were conversing, the situation became more heated, and Sonia pulled Tajinder by the collar. Parteek, the other accused, then punched and kicked Tajinder in the abdomen before pulling out a knife and stabbing him there. The accused left the scene when his friend Gagangdeep, who was with Teji at the location, raised the alarm.

Tajinder was heavily bleeding when he was taken to a private hospital in Phase 4, Mohali, where he later passed away from his wounds. At the Kharar City police station, a case was filed under Section 302 (murder) and other pertinent provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
